I have been deeply disappointed with GE appliances over the past few years. It started with the wall oven I got from my builder six years ago. Suddenly, the oven walls began to rust, including the bottom. I decided to purchase a brand new GE wall oven, hoping for a better experience. While dealing with my old oven, my GE microwave started smoking and burning—another headache I didn’t expect. As I worked to get the microwave fixed, my new one-month-old GE wall oven also started rusting! I can’t believe that after just a month, I’m facing the same issues with rust on a brand new appliance. I had hoped for higher quality from GE, but this experience has been extremely frustrating. I will not be purchasing any more GE products in the future.

The quality is number 1 by far. I’ve always purchased GE appliances in all my properties. GE never disappoints!

Overall the looks of the oven especially when paired with the new stove top were great. Functionality and key pad layout were easy and simple to use. Especially like the internal looks space and self /easy cleaning feature. The one blemish that kept me from giving the oven a 5 star rating was related to the quality of protective packaging. Specifically you went thru a lot of effort to put protective film and plastic on the oven, for shipping and handling protection, which is great; and then you add an energy rating sticker directly to the door glass that was difficult to remove and left a VERY hard to remove sticky glue residue all over the glass!!

This oven has exceeded my expectations! I am an avid baker and spend a huge amount of time in the kitchen cooking for my family. I've used so many of the functions on this oven and I've yet to be disappointed. I bake a lot with yeast and the proof function works perfectly. The racks are sturdy and non stick which is very important when inserting and removing heavy dishes. I like opening the door and the light automatically comes on. Never a dark oven.

Bought I think what is the older model of this oven JTS3000SN1SS. Had it for 1 yr now & love the oven. Giving it 4 stars because the stainless steel unfortunately is already getting permanent smudges & small rust spots on it. I do live near the ocean but I do wipe it down with stainless steel cleaner fairly often. Our other stainless GE Appliances do not have this issue & clean up nicely!
