I have no issues with the function other than the vent cover on the left side sagging because it was a little warped when we got it, but I've gotten it to align well enough not to bother me as much. The primary reason I wouldn't recommend this to anyone is that the corners are extremely pointed and if you are tall like me @ 6' 3" with the distance they are designed to work and the regular counter width. I'm constantly leaning into the danger zone. I've had to put baby corner bumpers on both outside corners to protect my head from being spiked. Seriously why on earth would someone design these edges to be anything but smooth and unsafe?

I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase of this GE PVX7300SJSS over the range hood! Installation was very simple, the touchscreen panel is very user friendly and has great features including Chef Connect! It operates very quietly in low setting as well as the medium and high setting! I love the boost setting too! I’m extremely pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this model when searching for a higher quality range hood at this price point.

I don't recommend this product.... doesn't work. Condensation its  dripping from the lights every time I cook....

No knobs, no buttons and no brand name displayed. Love the Gourmet Connect Bluetooth feature!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace a microwave/ventilation combo because we cook so much and needed a way to remove odors. Seemingly, this is a simple task, and we didn't want to pay an exorbitant amount for a vent hood. This seemed to be a good pick with a higher CFM than the usual and it looked great in photos. When we got it home, we had our handyman install it and install a duct system going through our cabinets. He didn't seem to have any trouble installing it. Overall, we're very happy with the lighting and the ventilation seems more than powerful. Additionally, on the low setting, the vent hood isn't noisy, which is a nice perk to be able to modulate that. We're looking forward to buying a stove with chef connect to have it sync as well.

The vent hood welds are clearly visible. Its like the wiling machine was too hot and it shows through on the stainless steel finish along the edges. The first grease screens that go on the bottom did not fit correctly. Had to get new ones which fit a little better but not perfectly. The charcoal filter was not included in the first one (oh yeah, they took the first one back because of the wiling thing and the second one had the same issue). I've had issues with nearly all my brand spanking new GE Profile appliances. I bought an entire kitchen set up and they are not very good. Good luck!

Completely stopped working after 5 years. First the light on the left out, then started noise as it was turned on. Finally, not turn at all except giving the electric humming sound.

Sleek, beautiful, modern design. Powerful 3 speed fan with timer. Bright lights with dimmer. Easy installation.

Filters are poorly made and fit is not lining up, looks off. Soft metal, dented front during installstion.

Very pleased with this range hood. I installed it myself with little trouble and it matches my new GE Cafe Range — my only complaint is the design for the control settings. It could be a little nicer and easier to see for those of us with over 40 eyes— this range hood has very nice lights and I like the double screens for under the hood. Unlike the range, this hood doesn’t have WiFi, zigbee or zwave capabilities and really should be a standard feature on all appliances these days— and would add utility for remote operation of the fan and lights and included in the programming features of the matching range; hence, the reason for the Four Stars. Maybe it does connect to a hub… but I’ve not been able to figure it out yet.
