The previous curved sticky mount I got around 7 years ago was used to connect a Hero 4 then 7 then 10 to my kayak helmet. Since then I have covered around 11k miles of sea kayaking and it is still stuck fast to the helmet but the helmet wore out so I bought a new helmet and another pack of grips and although only around 150 miles of use so far it seems well gripped, no reason why this one shouldn’t outlive my new helmet as far as I can tell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great. Very useful for safely mounting your action cam. I have one on my bike helmet as well as on my cars moon roof. I do recommend cleaning the surface and making sure it is dry before applying. I would also like to note that The more surface area that the adhesive covers the more reliable it is.

Love the camera love the clips. BUT… can we get a protective case for the hero 11 mini!!!!!!!

Sometimes we just want high quality videos of our birds. This will do just fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After you buy your GoPro, this is one of the first mounts/kits you need to buy because of its incredible usefulness. The GoPro itself will include one flat adhesive mount and one curved mount, but that won't be enough. If you have a family, you NEED to put one of these curved mounts on everyone's helmets. First person perspective from a curved mount adhered to the front of your ski helmet is CRUCIAL if you are skiing glades (some of the most interesting footage a intermediate/advanced outdoorsman will get on a regular basis is skiing the glades). The only disappoint with this setup is that once you adhere the mount, removing it is very difficult. Even if you apply heat, as is recommended for removal; so choose your mounting locations wisely.

Disappointed so far. Breaks much too easily and I'm almost through the whole pack in 1 month. I have read online that the breakage threshold for these mounts is built in for safety. If I wanted a safety/ breakable mount I would buy a third party one that I can snap with my hands. I upgraded to brand name ones as I ride a boosted board through the city and want the worms eye view for license plate/ vehicle capture for liability if needed. These work great on things like my motorcycle helmet, but I'm fabricating my own aluminum mount as I can't find anything quality made by a third party or go-pro. They also dislodge often as the skateboard has way more intense bumps even though I'm just riding. I am creating my mount with screw holes for mounting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one's pretty much a no-brainer if you need a few spare mounts for your helmets and other surfaces for your GoPro. It's the real deal (i.e. the OEM original strength stuff) so you don't have to worry about shoddy adhesives or the mounts popping off. Seems to be a little pliable right after you stick them down on an object (place them carefully just once), but pretty much inseparable after the sticky base cures overnight. Using these on my snowboard and dual-sport helmets with absolutely zero problems.
