Purchased in 2021. It was one of the only 24" options we could find. Near-daily use for the last 3 years. Over time, the cheap plastic has broken where the screws hold the face of the door on, and yesterday it came apart completely. Giving 2 stars because as a microwave, it functions well and has a large capacity. It works great as an appliance, and I love the light underneath. But for the door to only hold up for 3 years, I find unacceptable.

I bought this microwave to go over my 24” Haier stove in late 2018. It was in the box until our kitchen was finished in February 2019 and when installed nothing worked on it. Contacted Haier/GE and got a service person in and it was repaired and reinstalled over the stove. Three years later, almost to the day, it suddenly stopped working, no power, no clock, no vent, nothing. Have tried to get someone to fix it (GE gave us some names) but everyone tells us they don’t fix microwaves. This was an expensive appliance to have to replace after only three years. I’m very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fits perfectly above my small range, while being plenty roomy inside. It works great. I like that the alarm stops when you open the door. You can speed set it by hitting the number of minutes and it will automatically start for that amount of time.

We needed to go with a little smaller microwave in order to accommodate the space in our kitchen. To our delight, the inside of the microwave is roomy and the sleek control panel offers one touch options and easy custom times as well.

Installed this microwave last month and it looks great in our modern kitchen. Surprising how much power for a smaller unit. Only feature I wish it had was the ability to turn off the speaker.

Great for true 24" over the counter space. Most are to small for space and require filler side piece.

We selected this microwave because of its width - not many choices in a smaller size out there - and are delighted with this unit! PLUS it's made for above the stove, so the exhaust fan (2 speeds) and light (2 levels) are great for the cooktop. Love the cooking features - everything is easy to set. When food is done, beeper doesn't go on very long. How many of you have a beep that goes on until you get back to the door to press 'off'? Not here, a relief! The cooking space IS small inside, but perfect for 1 person. Recommend for a smaller kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WARNING: If you install this MW according to the MFG directions, you may not be able to open the door! Here's the issue. The entire front face is hinged as the door, and it wraps around on the left such that the hinge itself is set back from the front plane of the door. In order for the "door" to open, the entire unit must be set far enough forward for the hinge-proper to clear the front of the adjacent cabinet. This is not stated in any of the manuals, which actually depict it being installed with the front panel flush with the front plane of the adjacent cabinets. Again, this will not work. It must stick out far enough for the hinge to clear the adjacent cabinet. (Unless you have several inches of open space to the left of the unit.) Haier lists the depth of the MW at 16.5". IF your upper cabinets are a so-called "standard" 12" deep, it may install and operate as expected (though its front will not be flush with the plane of your cabinets - which you may or may not care about in terms of looks). If your upper cabinets are deeper (mine are 15" plus doors), it will be necessary to customize the mounting, and adapt the templates, to compensate. Also note that if the fan is used in recirculating mode, there is a charcoal filter which Haier recommends be replaced at least once every 6 months. But that filter cannot be accessed without uninstalling the unit, as you must remove the top cover of the MW to change the filter. Unfortunately there are few alternatives for a 24"-wide over-range microwave, and this one offers a nice range of features. I am rating it 3-stars because I haven't had it in use yet, to judge its performance as an appliance. So 2-stars off for the design problems and bad installation info; 3-stars for giving it the benefit of the doubt on performance. I would CONDITIONALLY recommend this to a friend.
