- Powerful Blend!- September 20, 2020
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Blender with FPA has everything I need to blend, chop, slice and shred. What a fantastic combination of kitchen appliances delivered in one box. This is a quality blender combo with a contemporary appeal. I like how stylish it looks sitting on my kitchen counter. It's fast to put together and easy to use. Wide push buttons make it simple to see and press what level of performance you seek. The pitcher is a hearty glass that holds up to 52 oz. The first thing I made was a delicious, thick strawberry milkshake. What I love about this pitcher is that you can add fruit at the top without lifting the lid. It's a great feature. I tried various speeds and the blade did the job very well. A very powerful and successful blend! Fabulous milk shake, fabulous blender. The food processor comes with two different blades. I used the slicing/shredding disc to prepare an end of summer gazpacho. So glad I had this useful attachment. It helped so much with time and the texture came out great! The addition of a personal blending jar is perfect for morning smoothies on the go. I'm so impressed with the speed and ability of this great product! I love mine so much I'm going to buy one for my sister for Christmas!!!Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- A great addition to my kitchen- September 28, 2020
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To me this is one of those things that you didn’t realize how much help it could be around the kitchen until you get one, the Hamilton Beach Blender with a food processor replaces so many other manual kitchen tools and save me so much time that I can’t believe I didn’t get one sooner. This thing is amazing it has a full-size bowl that will chop, crush and blend just about anything you want to make. You can mix your morning smoothie in the personal blending jar with ease, cleanup is a breeze and you can be out the door in no time at all. Everything is so well thought-out that is a breeze to use, and everything breaks down so it’s very easy to clean and the way everything fits together you can change from a blender to a food processor in no time flat, you can shred, chop and slice with ease and the controls are not complicated, it’s easy to look at the buttons and get the results you want without having to try this sort through a bunch of complicated choices. All the parts are solid and well made, they all fit together well and it’s easy to operate and you get the results you expect. So far, I’ve used it every day and it’s become an essential part of my kitchen, it’s so easy to use, I find myself preparing recipes that just seemed like too much trouble before because I had to dig out different tools to prepare it with, to me that’s a real plus.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great Blender- September 26, 2020
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing that I tested was the personal blender cup. 800 watts of power, I wanted to make sure it could blend ice well because I like to make blended coffee and protein drinks. I did ice cubes by themselves and the machine did splendidly. I then made a wonderfully tasting pumpkin spice blended coffee, yummy! I then tried the food processor attachment and had mixed results. First thing, that little red piece that came with the blade KEEP IT! I wasn’t sure what it was for and it didn’t seem to fit with the blade in the processor so I tossed it. Big mistake, there needs to be more warnings to keep it and why. It helps stabilize the blade as it goes around and now I will have to buy a new piece. The processor did okay with the S blade but I had to pull out chucks of tomatoes a lot as I made my fresh salsa. After many tries and batches of ingredients, I ended up with an awesome salsa. It may have been user error on my part as I don’t use food processors very often but the bowl seemed small to me. I tested carrots with the S blade and it did okay, like a rough chop not shredded. I also used the Glass blender bowl to mix up some Keto egg loaf with ham and Swiss, so good. The blade had no problem mixing up the cream cheese and eggs into a nicely mixed purée. Overall, I liked the blending features, love the glass blender bowl and feel so-so with the food processor parts. It was nice to have just one base to put the attachments on and they are all dishwasher safe except the motor base so that is really good. I’m sure the processor parts will work but I will have to work with smaller batches in the futureYes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Excellent Dual Purpose Blender- September 17, 2020
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender is a very well built appliance with top-notched materials. It has a bit of heft to it, but that is good for stability while in use. I like that it does not take up a great deal of space on my countertop and is attractive enough to leave out all of the time. Switching from a blender to a food processor is a snap and is handled very nicely by one base. With 800 watts of power, this appliance will breeze through anything that you need it to do. All in all, I very highly recommend this to be added to your kitchen appliances.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great Affordable Blender- September 20, 2020
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off with the size of this blender. For the weight of the box, I was expecting a bulky unit. I was pleasantly surprised to see a base that wouldn’t take up a lot of counter space. The buttons on the base felt nice and not cheap. The glass blender jar is great, with a lid that snapped into place. The blender bottle is brilliant; I love the fact that I can take the blade off and switch it between attachments. Not to mention being able to clean under the blade where food can get stuck is wonderful. I decided to test out the blender two ways. I don’t see myself using the food processor attachment much, so I focused on the blending ability. I crushed ice and made a green smoothie. It has a setting for ice crushing; it pulses. Did it crush ice fantastically? No, but it did a decent job; it could have been my type of ice as well. I’m sure anyone would enjoy a margarita from this blender though. The green smoothie is where I was slightly disappointed. I added 1 cup of kale, 1 cup of orange juice, and 1 cup of frozen fruit. I layered it kale first, thinking that if the kale was closer to the blade it would blend smoother. I used the smoothie setting. As you can see from my final pictures, the kale wasn’t as finely chopped as I would have liked. It could have been my fault though. I realize kale is tougher and I think spinach would have done better. Don’t expect a quiet appliance. It’s a blender, none of them are ever truly quiet. Cleaning up was a breeze. A little soapy water with the cleaning function and all I had to do was a quick rinse. I would recommend this blender to someone looking for an affordable option with decent results and something that doesn’t take up a lot of room on the counter.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
