It’s ok but doesn’t really have much cooling effect or much fan power . Cools by a few degrees but definitely not by 12 degrees. If your looking for something to cool you by your bedside or your room. I don’t recommend it as you will barely feel any difference. At your desk where u are working you will feel some differences in temperature. Low fan mode is quiet but it is also too weak even for a low mode so I have to turn it high mode but on high mode it is quite loud. Might as well get a fan tower or a conditioner.

I can say, it does what the literature says it does. However, it's NOT going to cool a whole room. I'm working at a desk inside a warehouse that's NOT air conditioned. I've got this small little unit sitting on a stand about 3 feet from my desk chair. It's also pretty humid here today with temps in the 90's. I must say, I'm fairly comfortable at my desk, as opposed to if I have to leave the area for another part of the warehouse. I'm gonna try adding ice cold water to the tank, maybe even some crushed Ice to help keep the water nice & cold. I'm going to try using Ice Cold water, maybe even some Crushed Ice in the tank.

I think the product is great, but there are a couple of things I don't like about the Mini AC. Firstly, at a mid-speed setting, you have to be right next to it to feel the cool air, and secondly, the water doesn't stay cold for very long. However, I still love it because it can last for about 5 hours on a mid-speed setting and really cool you down. It's a lot better than a fan because it blows out cool air instead of hot air. I have a medium-sized room, and it can cool the room down a bit. If you're looking to buy this product, I would recommend getting it in the summer. Additionally, you can put hot water in it, and it will blow out hot air just like a heater!

This unit is excellent! A better design with locking top section and three speeds instead of two. Don't use in high humidity climates as this uses evaporation to cool the air. It works effectively but only for maybe around 4-5 feet away from you. It is not an room air conditioner but only a space cooler. I like the low noise and the compact portability this unit gives. I have no complaints with this product.

I am a normally warm person in that I rarely am cold. My roommate however is always cold no matter how hot it is outside. In the summer I found it hard to sleep because I couldn’t get comfortable, had to find an A/C setting that didn’t freeze my roommate but wasn’t adequate for me to be comfortable sleeping. I first bought the smaller version of this product and it helped so much that this year I bought the larger version and these two units have helped so much that I can sleep soundly even on the warmest night so far. Love love love this product, can’t say enough good things about it.

I have had this product for a couple of weeks now and it’s been my little buddy. My appointment bathroom in Dallas has no airflow. After purchasing the cooler Getting ready for work has been a dream come true. It’s made for a small space and it delivers! However... Yesterday I noticed it started to leak from the bottom left corner in the front. I turn it on about five minutes before I start getting ready and turn it off when I leave. In that time I had a big puddle, and this morning the same. I’m hoping that it’s a freak accident, because I can’t imagine my buddy leaving me anytime soon.

Original purchase had to be refunded/replaced due to a manufacturing defect but store and customer service were excellent. Adequate cooling was achieved only after three consecutive uses but this may have been due to some extent to the humidity present in our apartment. Operating time of only six hours is adequate considering the design,The literature with the product could have explained the operation more clearly. Only 3 stars. Havent used product long enough to rate it higher. Would recommend with reservations.

I knew coming into it that these small evaporative coolers would be less powerful than an actual AC but still wanted one. "Cools a 6-foot space up to 12 degrees" - definitely not. It reaches a 1-foot space at best. Trust me - You are better off buying a fan and putting bottles of water in front of it. I can't share prices due to the rules of the review. The unit got significantly marked down on sale after I purchased. Even at sale price I would not say it was worth it. Some pros: - It is gentler than a fan - It doesn't have a strong airflow so you don't feel like you're in front of a blowdryer. It is nice to feel the overall space being cooled - Good for putting right by a pet crate, they are less scared of this than fans/AC.

Works if you keep it very close to you, that's BIG DESIGN FLAG: the water tank drains to a secondary "tank" when it is inserted in the cooler; this secondary "tank" is not sealed. The cooler can be taken apart into 2 pieces to replace the filter and the inside floor of the cooler is the secondary tank; when you put both parts together, they don't seal so if you move the cooler when it's full of water, it leaks unless you keep it totally horizontal. This in my opinion is a little of a hazard considering it's an electrical appliance!

I've had this about a week now. I usually don't do reviews but I had to this time. I live in Los Angeles where it's been over 100 degrees all week. I wanted to be cool at night in bed & this really did the trick. I even had to turn it down to medium because it was too cool. This cools my whole body when I sleep without cooling my whole house. This will not cool a large area in the hot daytime and it never claimed to. It also has not leaked any water. It is PERFECT for a nighttime personal cooler!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!
