    Great HP Printer

Reviewed by HP Printing Wizard - April 5, 2016

Set up and installation was simple and straightforward. The quality of the scanner and the printer is excellent. It's quiet and super fast. Only one detail of 'complaint' and that's that the printed sheets of paper come out on top and there's no tray to receive them. Given the compact nature of the printer, this isn't too much of an inconvenience to work around, however with larger documents, one would have to baby-sit the printed material, collecting the pages one by one unless one would prefer to pick them up from a pile on the floor and collate by hand. Otherwise, it's a well designed little machine.

    Easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After buying (5) ink cartridges (2 Blk & 3 colors), about every 2 months, for my previous Photosmart 7520 printer, I determined the money spent to add color was a huge waste as much of my printing needs are quite acceptable in black. I am looking forward to some definite & significant savings having only to purchase a black toner cartridge, perhaps but once a year... My monochrome copies are of excellent quality, too.

    Toner Cartridge Last Forever

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - April 7, 2014

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These toner cartridges seem to last forever. We have been using this same cartridge for almost 2 months and in a busy office that is constantly printing out invoices, estimates, and etc. this is a good thing. These cartridges have saved us so much money just in the 2 months we have been using it. Cause before we had a ink jet printer and in 2 months time we would have had to buy at least 2 maybe 3 packages of ink for the amount of printing we have done on this one cartridge and it is nowhere near half way empty. All business owners that use a printer regularly should invest in a toner printer.

    HP DOESN'T DISAPPOINT

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - August 6, 2025

I only buy HP ink cartridges toner. I refuse to buy generic brands. HP is the best ink.

Easy to install; easy to recycle

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - September 24, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is not much to say. The cartridge works as expected, the replacement was straightforward, and as an added bonus, HP pays for shipping the old cartridge to their recycling facility via UPS. I didn't even have to create or print out a shipping label. The label was in the cartridge box, and all that was needed was to put the old cartridge in HP's cartridge box, put the whole into Best Buy's box, slap on the UPS label, and hand the box to the UPS driver when he drove past our house: no need to go to the UPS store or to Best Buy to recycle the cartridge.

    GOOD

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - November 11, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Updated: The last set I got seemed to not have as much toner in them. It is high season at the office, but still we went through two cartridges in a week... more than twice as much as usual under 'heavy' use. The one I just put in barely made it 3 days. That would have required 3 reams of paper and I only opened one ream of paper during that time. They came packaged in generic looking boxes with a clear plastic HP wrap as well... not the same as the one's I'd been getting. Instead of being in the usual plastic bubble wrap protection inside the box, they were just in a netting made of cardboard. Between the packaging change and the lower than stated yield I am left wondering if these were still genuine HP cartridges. My HP software accepted them as HP though.

    Authentication fails?

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - February 3, 2019

This is the 4th cartridge in a row that fails to authenticate. The cartridges print great, even though they do not seem to last as long as they used to (and I am actually printing less). I use the Econ settings for everything except for things that have to look really good. I took off 1 star due to not authenticating and 1 star for getting noticeably less printing. Is it possible it’s my printer’s fault the authentications fails? If you can tell me how to fix that I will give you back that star!!!!! Chuck

seems to work as well as the previous one

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - February 19, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My HP laser printer and HP toner cartridge produce nice crisp pages. I just wish the printer would talk to my network once in a while. Seems like every time I want to print I have to power cycle the printer, delete and re-add the printer, reinstall drivers, etc. It rarely just prints. Same problem with wireless connection directly to the printer. Also wish HP would send me less spam email.
