[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent construction for my closets. Great job. I like it’s job except one thing. It’s blowing hot air, but sometime it stopped blowing hot and was blowing regular air with 45% humidity. When it blows regular air it not drying at all. Turn on and off doesn’t help, only turn off for a long time. Humidity levels that it shows sometimes not true, so you need good thermometer. Anyway good value for the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 1700 square-foot unfinished basement with 50% of the area having concrete walls. The moisture and lack of air movement attracted mold and mildew, which pose the threat and damaging electronics and furniture. I purchased two of these units to help reduce the humidity. I ran a hose connecting from the back of the dehumidifier through the hole where my HVAC unit lines come in. Turn the power on, set it to comfort and by the next morning, the smell was gone. The humidity level was between 48 and 52%. I will cut one of the dehumidifiers off to see if 135 pint dehumidifier can keep the humidity level the same.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t believe how much water this machine extracts from my apartment. I almost got the Waykar because my friend had it so I tried it, but so glad I favor this one it’s much more effective. No complaints so far. Just note that if you want a drain hose you’d have to buy that separately. I have it in my apartment and I empty it morning and night because it’s so freaking humid here, was over 80% humidity now it’s down to 55% and so much easier to breathe + mold smell and mushiness gone and our energy levels are up. If you need serious water extraction, meaning gallons and gallons every day, I recommend it!! It’s not a small machine but the sound although quite loud is still pleasant pitch and the white color and design makes it blend in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dehumidifier has been a life saver. We moved into a newly built apartment that had humidity issues. We ran this 24/7 for a few weeks and it made a HUGE differnce in the air quality. Now i just cut it on and off so it is not running all the time. I could not recommend this product more. The design is very sleek and minimal compared to others. It does have wheels on the bottom (product description says that there are not wheels). It would roll well on hard floors, would not recommend trying to roll on carpet.

Other than that when I inspected back filter it was all bent,so returned it. Hopefully that best buy will improve quality of these items,so people don't waste time going to buy something like this.

Not the quietest but still quieter than most other models I've owned. Performance is adequate for its intended use: 400sft or under. I have it in a 700 sqf basement where humidity during Summer creeps to 65-70%, which can cause mold. The unit is sufficient to keep the humidity below 50% even in the hot humid weather we're experiencing. I have to empty the bucket every 12-18 hours when it is very humid outside, but it does have the option to connect a hose to it and run it to a drain (hose not included). The unit shuts down automatically when the bucket is full and sounds an alert. Once emptied, it resumes operation. On days of average humidity I can go longer than 24h without having to worry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dehumidifier works great, but size and weight was above my expectation. The noise level is louder than my fridge, therefore I can’t run it when sleeping. Due to the size and weight, the cooling fins were bent/ damaged during shipping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now I understand why some reviews said it fills the bucket at first, but then produces no water. I believe that the coolant leaks a little from the time of purchase. The indicator shows the humidity goes down (from maybe 60 to 45), but the bucket hasn't filled more than ½ inch since the first month I owned it after days of having it shut off, and more days of running again. The fan runs for an eternity after the compressor shuts off, helping the electric bill increase and making me crazy with the continual noise. It should produce lots of water (like it did the first couple of weeks), as I live on the TX coast, with temps of 99.5° and dewpoint of 75°. At least you might say it is self-sufficient, because it must be recycling the water into the air and never makes me empty the bucket.

We ordered it because our basement was extremely humid. Turned it on in the afternoon and in the evening it was already full! So we went and bought a short hose to plug behind and I am amazed! It's quiet compared to any dehumidifier I have ever used, it has a lot of different options and it looks quite good! It's on the heavier side, which i don't mind but be careful if you have to carry it up/down the stairs! For some reason, mine came in damaged (dents) but since it's not influencing how it works I let it go. I am very pleased with it, the size is perfect as well and I would definitely recommend it.
