[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this deployed on an executives desk. He's running a Dell XPS13 laptop with windows 10 pro. It's currently running the first version of windows 10 but this device also worked with the anniversary edition of windows 10. I purchased this since the users docking station was having weird video issues (it's a 3 screen setup). The docking station was having bandwidth issues driving two monitors. Once i moved one of the monitors to the USB-C connection the video issues went away. It's a demanding user and so far it's worked flawless. I'd recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My company sent me a new Dell computer that does not have a VGA port so I needed something to display the screen on my second monitor. There are no holes for the screws which really isn't a big deal for me. The only other thing is that after a few days the image on my monitor gets offset by a couple inches which is mildly annoying. In fairness, I can't say if it is the new computer or this adapter but it was never an issue before. When it happens I unplug the adapter wait a minute and plug it back in, problem solved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this to connect my 2016 macbook pro to an older Dell AS500 monitor. I love that I can now see two different screens. The only "issue" is sometimes the heavy blue VGA end (which you could screw into old computers) falls out of the adaptor. This is solved by resting the adaptor and the VGA plug on the table and not letting it hang off the side of the table. This worked immediately upon being plugged in and I'm very happy to have this now! And in this point in my lift, I like having a larger monitor as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So i'm giving it a 4 star because it works and it gets the job done, but it translates a monitor that is bigger than mine into a much smaller monitor, so when things pass from one screen to the next there is a size change and a readjustment to the other monitor. Other than that it works great, and it could be that because the monitor is 7 years older than my computer may be the issue more than likely. So maybe with a newer monitor this wouldn't be a problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing works very well and it's what I needed to add another screen for my laptop. It's a bummer that everything needs an adapter these days but it works. Maybe not as good as Apple stuff has worked but I'm still satisfied with this adapter. There's a few glitches where I have to unplug it and plug it back in but it works after thAt so I'm not complaining. I baught this as an "opened" box, which made it cheaper so that was nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although it doesn't have screws to make a secure connection is does work just fine with a new 2017 13 inch Mac Book Pro. So I knocked off a star because of no screws otherwise it would be 5 strars.Tried others from amazon that worked for awhile and then stopped. So this is a good adapter but you could do better with combined unit with more features. Get it opened box as it does work and it's cheaper at less than 20 dollars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought an opened box product. I needed an adapter to use with my computer and an older monitor as a secondary display. The adapter failed to be detected. I know monitor is not broken -- so this cable might be or it is not compatible with my computer somehow... Most likely it is meant to be used with Mac products (which was not listed on the box and it is here on the website). I will have to look for a different cable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using the stock dongle that came with my Huawei matebook x pro and my external monitor started flashing on and off. After thinking it was something to do with Windows update I replaced it with this adapter. The problem was resolved and the product works flawlessly. For anyone with a new laptop that requires the use of USB-C, this is a great option to get an older monitor to work with your new computer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already had 2 monitors on my Laptop. The laptop screen itself and the TV, connected to the laptop's HDMI port. I had a USB C on my laptop that I wasn't using, and an old monitor that I wasn't using, so I figured I'd go ahead and use this. Surprised to find this when I started looking, didn't think USB C had compatibility with such a port. But it worked! No lag or tearing so far, so I'm happy about it.
