    Best Mouse/Trackball Hands Down!

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - May 15, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my first Kingsington rollerball in the late 80's early 90's and have loved it ever since. There were hard to get for a while so I tried the thumb roller, fingertip roller and settled on a regular mouse. It was okay but they all make my hand tired and I get very sore. When the new rollerball popped up onsale when i was buying my new laptop I was so excited. I love having it all over again. It's so comfortable and with the ring controls for fine tuning, it really is the best, most comfortable and powerful mouse around. I'm a lifelong fan and will not be giving it up any time soon. Side note: I got my mom one of the originals in about 1992... My sister still uses it to this day! And yes I used to use my 8 ball pool ball for fun... Worked great!

This mouse is gettng a workout

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - May 1, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mouse because the mouse provided by work was sorely inadequate for the amount of mousework that I do. The track ball glides (sometimes I get a little over enthusiastic about spinning it), I love the ring around the mouse that is used to scroll up and down; it feels easier on my wrist. Speaking of wrists, the only thing I don't like is the wrist rest that came with it; I like the idea of the wrist rest, but this is solid, there's no cushion-y feel. It's better than not having one, but I wish it was a little softer. Overall, this has been a great purchase.

    Good ambidextrous trackball option

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - November 20, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes some adjusting to using such a large trackball. Great option for left-handers or ambidextrous use since most other trackballs are specifically designed for right-hand use. The scroll wheel is functional once you figure out how to keep fingers on the ball and use your thumb to spin the wheel. The buttons could have been smaller or spaced differently as I sometimes click them by accident. But they are also reprogrammable so that helps. Good connection via bluetooth and goes to sleep to save battery life. Overall a functional trackball.

    Great trackball mouse

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - September 24, 2018

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third purchase of this mouse. I finally upgraded to the wireless. I had an injury to my right arm years ago and had to learn to mouse left handed. I was so successful in training my left hand with this mouse, that it’s remained my preference. I switch back and forth to my right to give my left a rest on heavy workload days. Which is the beauty of this mouse and wireless makes it much easier. Each mouse has lasted for several years of daily use. Please don’t ever stop making it without letting me know so I can stock up!!

Love it and it is not as large as I expected.

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - March 7, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the trackball. I purchased it to eliminate the pain in my thumb from using the mouse. It has worked perfectly for that issue. I read the reviews and many commented that this was HUGE, so I expected something 8x10. But this is much smaller than I expected and I am pleased. The footprint is only about 5x6 and used less space than I used with the mouse, so that is an improvement. The ball itself has a tiny imperfection in it that catches occasionally on one of the three supports, but I had already discarded all the packaging so I am living with it. It is a little annoying, but not too distracting. I would recommend purchasing it to anyone wanting a trackball. This is so much better than the new ones that use the thumb to rotate the track ball.

Great Size and Ergo, poor mac experience

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - June 12, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mouse itself is pretty amazing. Are use it every day and even switch hands for work. The oversized track ball makes it even more desirable over other trackball mouse that I have used. there is a serious problem on an M1 Mac, however. It seems that every day, my cursor will stop moving. Bluetooth will still be connected because I can use the rotating ring, and my clicks will be responsive. it’s incredibly disruptive during work, and based on some Internet searching it seems that a lot of other people also see this problem.

    A very comfortable tool

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - May 16, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mouse to replace a corded trackball mouse that was loosing contact with my button clicks. I wanted a trackball mouse that I could use left-handed that would provide me with more functionality that my previous one but the same level of comfort. I must say that overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. I use three monitors, so I love the larger trackball's ability to get me to where I need to point quickly. I love the easy scrolling ring that makes it super easy to scroll. The main reason that I gave 4 of 5 stars is that I don't find certain settings for buttons to work. I really wanted the double-click feature to work, but I have not been able to get that function working no matter what I've tried. Still, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

    Not chasing mice across desktop

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - March 3, 2018

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Love my new wireless Full sized trackball After slamming my old mouse into the table and watching the springs pop-out, when the mouse became non-responsive in a computer game game. I got my 1st Kensington Trackball. No longer move a mouse across a mouse pad, but rather use finger-tips to finely control cursor movement. with the large ball. The wireless Trackball is identical to the wired optical version, except the lack of wire and being updated for Win10. It is heavy-duty workhorse.

    won't work with kvm

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - January 8, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the expertmouse for decades. The software has always been questionable, but the hardware worked flawlessly. I needed a new one and found they only have a wireless one. I've used two different kvm's with my older, wired ones. The wireless one wouldn't work and their "support" was basically a shrug. I had to return it, and now I'm trying an Elecom. Software's also questionable, so far, but at least it worked right away with my kvm.

HELLO Early 2K !! Retro Trackbackball with updates

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - February 24, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes me back to 2000-2005. I used to use one of these to play old school PC games (Yuri's revenge, Gangland, C&C, etc), except they weren't old school then lol. So I recently started playing them again (15+ years later) and I was curious if anyone ever still made this mouse, and sure enough good old Kensington STILL does. I love it, sure its a bit retro, but it still seems way more usefull and effective then sliding the mouse all over the desktop and having to reposition it, if I have moved to far to the left, right, up or down... none of that is required with a trackball, it can infinitely scroll in any direction without the need to reposition it, to gain more movement in that or any other direction. If you havent tried one of these, and you like to game (maybe retro games), give this a shot! I love it, and so glad I found it was still being made!
