BEAUTIFUL! Pros outweigh the Cons in the end.

    Reviewed by - July 28, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to replace my previous Kitchenaid slide-in range which was about 11 yrs old. PROS: It's a beautiful range! Oven size is really large and glass window is huge, letting me see what's baking easily from a distance! No vent in top of oven door - hated that before, broiling would splatter down those vents and in between glass of door window. That's been fixed with this new one! Oven bakes evenly and holds temps accurately - something my old one didn't do. Super large burner on cooktop allows for large stockpots and frying pans. Cooktop burners heat well, fast, and accurately. Warming burner is wonderful, really keeps things nice and hot without burning. CONS: Depth sticks out from cabinets further than my old one did, but it is such a beautiful range, NP Don't like the digital controls on the top, wish they were between the knobs on the front. Catches grease splatters when frying. Cookdop has small white dots in several places marking burner areas. Looks like crumbs. Not needed! Not fingerprintless stainless on control top or front! I was told the knobs were metal, but they feel plastic to me. Nice but plastic. We'll see how they hold up. I had to correct the oven temp calibration to +20 degrees for accurate baking temp. That seems to be a lot of calibratioIn, but is correctable, just check when you use it the first time. Why can't they do this in the factory?? I like the ability to be able to calibrate it myself though! No oven temperature probe - something that shoudl be there in this price range. Storage drawer is less high than my old one. Had to get rid of some pans I used to have room for. I would rather have the storage space and 2" less high oven space. That's a personal choice. Just saying. You have to really listen for the timer ending alarm. It only beeps once at first. NO OWNER"S MANUAL - This is HUGE. Features I would like to know more about such as what are "even heat", even heat ultra burners, and more about the "steam bake" oven selection. All in all, I like the look, it's a BEAUTIFUL range, and so far works nicely" I would buy it again!

    Disappointed

    Reviewed by - November 11, 2023

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Overall, I am disappointed in both the stovetop and oven. Both the stovetop and the stainless steel are easily scratched. Setting the dials to obtain a low, even simmer-level heat is almost impossible. The front panel is susceptible to touch and must be locked when the oven is not in use as even wiping the top or leaning over it will start the stove. The convection fan will spontaneously turn itself on making an odd noise and the only way to stop it is to turn the appliance off at the circuit breaker box for upwards of a quarter of an hour. Electrical in the house is not the source of the problem as it was done during a recent kitchen renovation and passed city electrical inspection.

    Cheap stainless edge

    Reviewed by - December 7, 2019

6 weeks old and we are very sad we paid this much money for such a cheap finish. We were so excited to buy such a high end appliance for our forever home. We take great pride in our possessions and cleanliness. We read the whole manual for Care and use. The scratches on the top appear no matter how careful we are. We do not slide the pots we only use the cleaning kit to clean. We do not let anyone near the stove in fear of negligence and more damage. This is our 3rd electric glass cooktop and it is by far the most expensive and worst one ever. Definitely disappointed in Kitchen Aide.

    Show Piece of our kitchen.

    Reviewed by - March 4, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this range a couple months ago. It is a joy to cook on. I love the arrangement of the burners on the glass top. They cook so evenly and consistently. It is easy to control the heat as you cook. The oven is wonderfully large with heavy duty racks. I absolutely love the extra large window in the oven. I can keep an eye out as I cook. There are features I haven’t even tried yet. But I’m glad to have them. My only wish was that the oven would heat a bit faster. But that’s just me being part of the fast paced life wanting everything quick. We are really happy with this range. It is beautiful, it is the showpiece of our kitchen.

    This is a 4.5 stove

    Reviewed by - April 23, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this two weeks ago. Placement of knobs is it’s largest issue so far, cooking bumps them. The touch buttons are nice but the third one takes a lot to work. The size is very nice and it’s easy to use. I wish it had the WiFi option, at this point all models should have it. Many other brands currently do. But my family of 9 really likes this stove. Oh I should say it looks nice in my kitchen, so much so I went out to get new lights and light plates for the switches. Now I need to get dishwasher and microwave ASAP.

    Not impressed

    Reviewed by - January 14, 2020

I've had this range for just over a year. I love the way it looks and the non-marking stainless finish. Unfortunately that's about it. The oven takes forever to heat up. The burners are not responsive to temperature changes... I've burned things and also thought things were cooking when they were not. Though this is my first electric range and so maybe this is a challenge with all of them. The bell/beep on the timer is too quiet. More disturbing: the enamel coating inside the oven has chipped in three places where the racks slide in. And the heat markers on the knobs on the front are STICKERS that have gotten wrinkled on two knobs (so far--it's the ones we use the most) and I'm sure will eventually peel off or crack etc. This is a fairly expensive oven that, after a short time, feels cheap. I would not recommend!

The inability to run a real cleaning cycle

    Reviewed by - June 25, 2019

Worst range I've ever owned, including cheap rental houses in college. I'm just without options here. I cook. A lot. I make everything from cakes to bacon in my oven and a puny 40 min steam cycle doesn't cut it. If I'd known this prior to purchasing I'd NEVER have gotten this stove. Of course the instructions say 'Don't use oven cleaner' but what am I supposed to do? If you have a spill or grease pop in the oven I can't i

    Looks great, simple and timeless

    Reviewed by - March 27, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only owned for a month after replacing my 17-year-old KitchenAid range and so far, so good. Burners all function and quick to heat. Oven light is fantastic and baking has been consistent. My only criticism is the fact that it sticks out now because the true slide in depth no longer exists and we will have to have the soapstone behind our range cut to slide it flush against the wall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So disappointed in this range the cooktop is already scratched from just placing a pot and moving where it belongs on burner. So disappointed! Thought maybe if I purchased an upgrade to what I had would be better but not so! Stainless steel catches easily also. Not worth money in my opinion!!! 😡
