[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase this hood for our kitchen remodel. Overall, looks good, I didn’t not vent to outside. Purchased charcoal filters. Little difficult to secure but did finally snap in. The only problem, with the charcoal filters in place causes the internal plug to power the controls was short, it doesn’t snap into place. Had to open the hood to see if the wire could be lengthened but unable to get that done. Looks like a design flaw from the company. Had to get an electrician to secure it and add some length. Plug connects fine without the charcoal filters in place. Recommend outside venting instead of using filters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the kitchen has only been completed for 2 weeks, we are enjoying the matching pieces of our Kitchenaid appliance package.

I installed this at a height to accommodate my wife who is 5' tall, I'm 6' when I bend over I hit the edge of the hood whose corners are extremely sharp; I had to pad the corners until I had completed. Another feature I found unusual to change the speed from high to a lower you have to release the high button for the speed to drop to the lower speed.

It works great with nice features, but the section of “Stainless Steele” that goes from the mid section of the vent to the ceiling looks like crap and cheap. It doesn't match the bottom portion of the vent and hood, which does look like an upgrade appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a beautiful art piece in the kitchen and so much more. The lighting is excellent, plenty of power in fan and so easy to get to the filters — that go into the dishwasher for cleaning!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been impressed with the KitchenAid line for some time so when I remolded my kitchen this was the first thing I bought to go with my new KitchenAid range. Vented to the outside it will move cooking odors out quickly. Simple and easy to use, filters are easy to replace or take out to clean. One of the best on the market.

I bought this a month ago and it hooked up easily hardwired to my electrical. I think its a nice timeless design but also updates the kitchen nicely for the professional chef look! The only thing I wish they had mentioned was that the led lights are a cool white, while my undermounted ones are a warm white. It would be nice to match these and also have the option to purchase the warm lights to install. Another small design I find strange is that the buttons don't pop out when another one is pressed, my wife finds this strange as well. Lastly, the fan is quiet on 1 and 2, but there seems to be a big jump to 3...but it's still pretty quiet. Install using 6' rigid for the quietest and best venting!

I've had the hood for a while now and install was done this week. I love the look, but it's becomming challenging to find the crown molding piece for the top of ceiling. I think this piece should be added or make it easier to find. It shouldn't be like a needle in a haystack.
