[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item came damaged and by the time my kitchen remodeling was done it was too late to change. It has a dent in the corner of the hood and under the hood it has a crack. I am.very disappointed

First off, I did my homework when it came to range hoods. I had a Braun before but needed a wall unit this time. The range hood is the quietest range hood as per the specs and after installing it. There is also very little vibration on the drywall. I would highly recommend this unit for the following reasons: Easy to install after viewing the YouTube video, easy access to filters, filters are hidden from view with an easy pull-down panel. The overall design of the unit is perfect because most backsplashes tend to be busy with the design of sort and you want to keep the fan simple as to not distract from the wall. At low speed, this unit is magnificent if you like to cook and talk with others or listen to music. I placed a plain sheet of paper at the inlet vent and it held in place even at low speed. The lights are bright enough however, the only drawback is that there is no delay timer in the shutoff. That being said, I love this fan and would highly recommend it. Stay away from fans that are lower grade less than 400 CFM's. You need at least 400 if you cook a lot on an electric or induction range. Gas stoves need more CFM's.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had selected another unit but changed to this product because of the other Kitchenaid appliances in our kitchen. I'm glad we did because the stainless-steel finish on this unit is much better than what we had previously picked out. Installation was a breeze too; comes with a template for drilling the holes required. The LED lighting is really nice and fully lights up the work area below. Happy customer so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although this is more expensive than a lot of hoods you can find online or even in the store but I wanted mine to match my brand and I’m so glad I did. It looks great and I love the lighting on it as well. Sound is great too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the hood along with the other Kitchen Aid appliances because it went along with the stainless steel look we were going for. I was surprised how quiet the fan was! The lighting was perfect also.

We have had our hood for a year now. We still love it. It looks great. It draws the cooking fumes out fast. Stainless Steel does need more attention to keep the finger smudges off. But, we love it anyway.
