I bought this stand mixer after we moved and the pandemic started. I use it maybe 10-15 times a year, so definitely less than 100 uses. Yesterday, while making a Small batch of hamburger buns, the head sheared off the base and flew onto the floor. Thankfully no one was hurt and it didn’t damage the floor. I started a chat, showing photos of the mixer and was then asked to call in, which I did. The agent informed me that the mixer is from 2013 (hard to believe since I bought it in 2019 or later) and the best they can do is offer a 30% discount on a new one from their website. Kitchenaid definitely does NOT stand by their products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally when we use our mixer we need a spatula to make sure things mix properly and don’t stick to the edges. At first I thought this would help clean the bowl. My initial reaction was disappointment until I realized I misunderstood how this worked. It evenly removes ingredients from the bowls edges by scraping or sweeping them with a silicone fin. Then the momentum from the mixer spinning seems to evenly distribute the mix that would have otherwise needed a secondary spatula to fold in those lost ingredients. It’s great. Don’t expect it to squeegee things clean. It will evenly mix things for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I truly am impressed with the overall quality of this tilt-head flex edge beater. I appreciate how much time this saves because in the past I would have to stop my mixer in order to scrape the ingredients off the side of the bowl and since using this flex edge beater I no longer have to do that. My mixing time has greatly decreased and it scrapes the ingredients off the side of the bowl leaving nothing behind. I love that this beater is dishwasher safe and it's easy to clean. It's also made with quality material and is extremely durable. I highly recommend this product as it will not disappoint and because it works so well.

It fit perfectly. It also works like a dream. I often use my mixer to make batters and frosting. The Tilt-head flex Edge Beater helps take the excess off the sides with little effortIt has definitely made my work easier.

What better way to celebrate one year with my mixer than use it for Thanksgiving treats! During the past year the "little guy" has worked tirelessly kneading bread dough, mixing countless cookies, working up fresh pasta and beating egg whites into meringue. This is my second Kitchen aid mixer, replacing a 30+ year lift mixer that I gave my son.

I've never put my flex edge beater into the dishwasher and it's gradually disintegrated until it's no longer usable. Why don't y'all just make a stainless beater with no paint coating? It's kind of gross to think that we've inevitably eaten the coating off of this beater as it's flaked off into various doughs....
