The Klipsch The Fives II is a pair of powered speakers built to be a complete music and home theatre system on their own. Each cabinet carries a 1" Titanium LTS vented tweeter mounted on a Tractrix horn, paired with a 5.25" Jet Cerametallic woofer and a rear-firing bass reflex port. The result is a frequency response of 50Hz to 25kHz and up to 103dB of maximum output from the stereo pair. A one-piece BMC baffle and an MDF cabinet wrapped in genuine wood veneer keep the sound clean and the finish furniture-grade.

Dolby Atmos playback with Virtual Height Channels lets The Fives II handle Atmos soundtracks from a two-speaker setup. Four listening modes are built in, so you can switch between Music, Movie, Direct and Dialog Enhancement depending on what you are watching or listening to, and a five-band EQ in the Klipsch Connect app lets you tune the sound to your room. Hi-res playback up to 96kHz/24-bit means high-resolution files are handled at full quality.

Connections cover just about every source in a modern living room. HDMI 2.1 with eARC and CEC connects to your TV with a single cable and passes through 8K video, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, BT.2020, VRR, ALLM, QFT and HDCP 2.3, so your picture quality is untouched. An RCA phono input with a built-in phono stage means a turntable plugs straight in, with no separate phono preamp required. You also get RCA analog, optical digital, USB-C audio and a line-level RCA subwoofer output for adding a sub later.

For streaming, dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet support Google Cast, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Qobuz Connect, while Bluetooth 5.4 with SBC and AAC handles casual playback from a phone or tablet. Day-to-day control is simple: a metal wheel on the top edge adjusts volume and source, a backlit remote covers the couch, and the Klipsch Connect app handles setup, EQ and source selection.
