    Super Slow

    Reviewed by Hulxmash - January 5, 2021

I bought 2 of these flash drives and could not get consistent transfer speeds. Would write for about 2-3 seconds and then stop for about 30 seconds. It took 25 minutes to write 2.9 Gb file to the drive. I tried on 3 different computers, 2 windows and 1 linux, and there was no difference. I thought maybe I got a bad one but both are the same. I cannot get anywhere near the rated transfer speeds. And reading speeds are no better. I am seriously disappointed.

    Piece of Crap

    Reviewed by Stephen - January 4, 2021

Extremely slow drive. The worst one I have ever owned. This drive only writes at 40 mb/s for less than a second and then drops to zero for 8-9 seconds and then keeps repeating until it crashes. Crashes and becomes disconnected after about 10 files copied. Trying to copy 211 files (100 gb) and taken over 2 hours to complete only 20%. They should provide negative stars for products like this.

To echo the experience of other reviewers, the write speeds are slower than some of my USB 2.0 drives. (using HFS+) Shame.

    Turtle write speeds

    Reviewed by Frank - February 18, 2023

This is awfully slow to write to. It gets at best 3.8MB/s on write so be patient copying to drive. There are some 100-150MB/s bursts but when copying large files, the average is around 3.5-4MB/s. However, read speeds are high a top off in my case at 245MB/s constantly even for large 4GB+ files.
