During Energy Saver mode, the fan stops when the compressor stops cooling then approximately every 3 minutes, the fan will turn on to check the room air if cooling is needed and in Cool mode, the compressor runs to cool the room and the circulation fan speed can be adjusted. In Fan mode, the fan circulates the air at your desired fan speed but the compressor does not run. In Dry mode, humidity is removed from the room without additional cooling and once the set temperature is reached, both the compressor and the circulation fan turn off
