    All around awesome!

We recently purchased this combo set at the brick. Its so quiet, its got all cycles. Its huge inside but decently thin overall. It can wash queen duvets which is fantastic as no more laundry mat and it was affordable. We must admit we haven't used the controls from our phones yet but its def a plus. Great overall performance a recommended must buy!

    Vibrating crazy

    Reviewed by Lena - January 28, 2023

My old laundry machine was too loud so I bought this LG one. It’s quiet enough, but when the washer is spinning, the floor and the walls are shaking and vibrating crazily. I can set the spin at low or “no” level, the vibration will be lower, but it takes much longer time for drying then. I read the instruction, it says better place it on the concrete floor to avoid vibration. My floor is laminate. I can’t change the floor. I’m frustrated and considering returning it.

Compact & elegant but quite noisy for the price

    Reviewed by Max - October 29, 2021

The tower is compact and fit well in a tight spot. Therefore, the washer and dryer are just as noisy as some standard top loading washer and dryer that you could get for a few hundred dollars. Moreover, I don’t know if it’s because my washtower is defective or if LG thinks it’s normal, but from spin level 2 to max, the sides of the washer shake like crazy (and yes, I’ve removed the transport bolts and everything). It’s an overall good product, but for those reasons plus the price you pay for it, I can’t recommand it.

    Great design

    Reviewed by BobL - March 5, 2023

Had the ThinQ delivered yesterday and installed. First use was today and I must say I love this LG wash tower so much. Going to save on water use and detergent use which is a bonus and it’s so quiet in all cycles. Absolutely 0 shaking or noise in the spin cycle as some others say they have. We have it on a concrete floor like LG recommends.

    Laundry is enjoyable!

    Reviewed by - August 28, 2021

I recently bought this laundry tower to replace and old clunky laundry that I unherited when I moved into a condo. This unit fit perfectly into the closet and cleans perfectly and quickly. The app feature is great so you know when your cycle is coming to an end...just need to figure out how to lower the volume on the chime when the wash/dry cycle ends.

    Happy with purchase

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - October 2, 2024

Glad I went to the store to see that a tower was a better choice than stacking machines, as the tower has all the buttons in the middle where they are easily accessible. I am happy with these machines. They wash and dry well. Small things that I wish: wish the “quick wash” was slightly longer (currently 15 min). Or would be nice to have a choice between a quick wash and the normal wash. Obviously that’s personal preference. Wish there was a “extra water” feature like my old machine. Also on the dryer - there is no delay timer (there is a delay timer on the washer but it’s the dryer you need this for since it sucks the electricity the most and we like to run it when hydro is cheapest). Also wish there was a 10 min timed dry. The shortest timed dry is 20 min.

    Sensible design

When We started looking for new laundry appliances, we only had space for "stackable", and I guess it has been a while since we last bought them, my wife would need steps to reach the control panel. Then we saw this pair or "Tower", it was exactly what we wanted, and now that we have it for about 6 months it is working great, after a few uses the controls became very simple to operate. Great idea and good quality.

    Pass

    Reviewed by - April 9, 2026

I bought this unit about 2 months ago. It cleans well, but the 2 star review is due to lack of options on the control panel. cycle options have pre-set options and are NOT adjustable. Such as-normal drying, you cannot lower the temperature- must be on high. I also don't like that you have to download the app to get additional cycle options. We've not been able to link the machine to the app therefore don't have access to the additional cycles. One basic feature that I would like to have standard is just a spin cycle. Apparently, it is an option in the app. The bedding cycle has a medium level spin. I would like high, but I'm not able to adjust. Bedding comes out still damp. The only way around this is to select the quick wash option and set the spin to high. Extra unnecessary step and waste of water. Due to the lack of cycle options and adjustments, I would pass on this washtower.

    Non-reversible doors

    Reviewed by - January 6, 2024

Overall I like this product, however after I installed the system I found that the doors are NOT reversible. The hinge is on the left so it causes problems in tight spaces. I never thought to ask since every washer/dryer I’ve ever bought has had reversible doors. Beware if this is important to you.
