Bit pricey for only decent sound quality!

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - June 9, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ngl I was pretty disappointed with the sound quality. It’s good but not what you’d expect out of a headset this expensive. If I was to compare this headset with my cheap astro a10 i would say the astro has better bass but lacks in overall sound quality. If you’re only gaming with this and have no desire to listen to music at an extremely good quality, I would say buy it only if you got a deal like i did. Other than that the battery life is great, it’s very comfortable, and feels like a very quality product. Also i think it’s worth mentioning that the mic is fully detachable which i thought was a pretty cool feature, but i could imagine it getting lost fairly easy.

    ThenbSound Of A Pro

    Reviewed by - August 14, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did my research before I got these and there were quite a few negative things said. And to be honest I was a little discouraged. But then they showed up and I shut up! Oh my God, these things are awesome. They look good , sound good and I sound good to other gamers. The headphones come with 2 pairs of over the ear cups. A pho-leather set for that immersion style of play when you don't want to get any distraction while being hunted in an online match. And a more spongelike pair so you can hear the wife tell you to get off that game and get a job. They're wireless so how's the battery life, you ask. Well,, let's just say , you ain't running out of power any time soon. Been playing with them for a couple days on the charge out of the box. They were at 60% out of the box, btw. And even if you do go near death, you can charge and play as long as you're dongle is attached. They're comfortable as all get out. I wear glasses and it doesn't matter. The mic is removable so if you're antisocial, you're covered. They connect to the GHUB so you can adjust the your sound settings to your liking. And I really had no problem with the latency from being wireless. I really love this headset. The only problem I have is that I can't use them with my Xbox One X. It works great for my PC, Nintendo Switch and it's also said to work with PS4(I don't have that system, sooo, yeah). All that being said, as a casual gamer, I would say they're pricey. But as a hard-core gamer, $200 is very much worth the investment. Steamers will love these. I didn't even bring up the professional sound presets. WOO!! Bottom line, if you really want that freedom of wireless with near flawless latency, and great sound, get these. I would've give it 5 stars had it been able to work on my Xbox One X.

    Outstanding!

    Reviewed by - September 14, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Logitec Pro X Wireless Lightspeed gaming headset is a premium piece of kit. It comes securely packaged with the headset assembled and the rechargeable lithium battery already installed within the earpieces. Replacement earpieces are provided and they are soft and comfortable for long periods of constant use. The headset is charged by a USB cable that is provided, but the wireless USB antenna seems to run off the PC power source. The whole set can be stored in a soft neoprene pouch that stops scratches and keeps all the items together when not in use. The headset itself is weighty but robust; metallic rather than plastic frame provides durability and luxury. So just be careful not to scratch worksurfaces - hence the carry pouch. The headband is covered in supple leather banding so it is comfy over the top of your head, and around glasses etc. The circumference of the headset is fully adjustable but doesn't slide away from where you set it, and it comfortably accommodates an adult or child's head. The mic is flexible yet stays in position when set, and has a foam outer to eliminate pickup from unwanted directions. For video calls the headset is excellent; crisp sound quality of delivery from the audio source, without lag, and the volume can be adjusted physically on the headphone body itself by an analogue wheel, or directly muted by a button. The headset is plug and play with no installation or software update required. It is important to note that this is a headset for PC only it seems; it is not compatible with Xbox, a smart TV, or a Bluetooth digital entertainment system when tried to couple with the antenna.

    Great sound. Mic is amazing

    Reviewed by - August 17, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy this headset. I always trust Logitech’s products, and was excited that they came out with a wireless version of the G Pro. I don’t do heavy gaming but when I do, I need one that is wireless and has a good mic pick up. Pros - comfortable: the padding feels great over my ears and head and they don’t feel tight at all. - mic: on the left ear cup is the attachment for the mic. The mic is adjustable and you have software to the mic adjustments using their Blue Voice technology on the Logitech Hub. This is a nice feature because you can adjust it to the perfect sound pick up that is right for. It didn’t pick up too much background noise around my house, which is a plus since I have 2 kids running around. - Sound: this is a solid headset when listening to music or watching movies and most importantly gaming. playing Fortnite gave me a heightened sense of sound and which way to go, but I still stink at that game... playing easy games like Roblox with their soundtrack was more manageable. Even doing a little Minecraft brought out the nature sounds of the areas around my village as I build. - Battery life: I get around 21 hours of battery life with medium to heavy use before I need a recharge. Logitech has it slated at 20+, so that is pretty accurate. - Range. I have a 2 story townhome and have my computer on the second floor, dead center of the houses. I am able to go around the entire 2nd floor and even downstairs without losing my connection. Logitech also says it can go about 15m range which is true in my experience. Cons - USB Transmitter. This is the major issue I had with this, you need to use one of your USB-A ports. My desktop computer only has two, my Surface Pro only has 1. I didn’t want to get a dongle for my Surface so I use up my only USB port. Wish it didn’t require this transmitter. - Logitech G Hub: I had so many issues trying to get this set up, this took long as I kept getting errors. After a restart on my computer I was able to set it up and running. Overall, I really enjoy the G Pro X 2.0. It takes time to get the G Hub software to your preference, but once you figure it out you get amazing sound and mic quality.

Premium build quality paired with excellent sound

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - December 20, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What's in the box - Headset - Blue Voice Microphone (Detachable) - USB Type A to Type C charging cable - A soft fabric carrying case - Extra pair of earpads with a plush velour finish - USB Type A Dongle Review Coming from a G933, this was a solid upgrade. The build quality is excellent which no creaking sounds and the metal headband offers solid durability. The plastic on the back of the earcups also has a matte premium finish with the headband and the earpads in leather with memory foam. There's an extra pair of earpads with a plush velour finish in the box. The controls are on the back of the left earcup - Top to bottom - Microphone toggle, Volume control, Power switch, Type C charging port, LED indicator. Unlike the G933 which had DTS 1.0 and Dolby, the Pro X has DTSX 2.0 but no Dolby. However, there's nothing to miss about Dolby - The Pro X allows excellent control over equalizers and the surround sound channels and allows you to tune the sound output anyway you want. The Pro G 50mm drivers perform phenomenally and even at 100% output and bass tuned all the way up, the sound doesn't break at all. The microphone is Blue Voice - Which allows you to tune the input. The noise suppression is great with the mic being able to tune out a mechanical keyboard (not sure how it'll hold up against clicky switches - I had linear ones which don't make a lot of noise), my laptop's fans running on turbo with a laptop cooler blasting off as well. It is important to note that the headset does not work in a wired mode. The only way it works is with the dongle and I used a USB type c to Type A converter to test it with my Android phone and it works excellently - though I wasn't able to use DTS due to the lack of onboard profiles. The other downside is that the earcups don't rotate so you can't have the headset lie flat on the desk or on your shoulders. The battery lasts about 24 hours with 0-100% charging taking around 4-5 hours. You can use the headset while it's plugged in and yes, you can use your phone's charger as well as long as it supports outputting 5v 1A. This headset cannot be compared against the audiophile headphones - it's a gaming headset and within that niche, it's excellent. With the newer model costing 250 USD, this one still holds up a decent value on a sale.

    Great Choice for Gaming

    Reviewed by - August 17, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will open with the admission that I have been a long time fan of Logitech. They make great peripherals that are high quality and well priced. These headphones are no exception. Well packaged and high quality, these headphones have a polished aluminum look, soft and comfortable ear cups and a removable headphone. Included is a USB charging cable and USB Bluetooth adapter. Controls are on the left earpiece and include on/off, volume and mute. They are easily accessible, and offer a nice tacticale feel. You will want to download the Logitech G HUB to tune the mic and create/download profiles. End of the day, very good gaming headset with one opportunity for improvement. The bass is certainly adequate, but I do wish it were just a little more punchy. Certainly not a deal breaker, but I do want just that little bit of improvement. I would recommend to a friend for gaming, but for music, they are pretty good, but not quite great. **PLEASE NOTE** This product was provided to me at no cost in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. This review is exactly that: Honest and unbiased. The price played no role in the tone or honesty of this review.

Excellent Build and Fit but Missing Stuff

    Reviewed by - September 7, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: * Excellent build quality. * Physical power button (slides for on/off). * Mute button with audio feedback. * Comfortable fit. * Includes swappable foam ear pads and carrying pouch. Cons: * Boom microphone has no button or LED for mute. * Provided software doesn’t install on vanilla Windows computer. My Review: For gaming headsets, there are a few must-haves; comfortable fit for wearing during long-duration sessions and great sound quality. This Logitech G PRO X headset does both. The built quality is superb, from the metallic accents on the sides to the simple and sleek metal arms. Unfortunately, that’s where the good stuff ends. The boom microphone is nice enough but unlike some competitors, this microphone is an analog plug so there is no mute button or mute status LED on the boom itself. Sure, there’s a physical push-push button on the left ear to mute the microphone, and you do get a nice audio beep either way, but I prefer the headsets that put these things on the boom itself so I don’t have to feel for one of the several buttons on the ear cup that I can’t see. To get the most out of this headset (similar to others), you need to download and install their G HUB software. After weeks of trying and numerous calls to tech support, the software still doesn’t install on my vanilla Microsoft Surface Book 3 notebook. One would think that the most recent Microsoft-branded notebook would be able to install the software, but nope. The provided USB dongle is a tad large, too. It’s got a USB-A plug and most newer notebooks have USB-C ports, so you might need to find an adapter or hub to plug it into. At least this headset charges with a USB-C cable (provided). Overall, I can’t recommend this headset simply because the software won’t install, tech support couldn’t help, and there are competing products out there with a nicer set of features. The build quality is great, but that doesn’t matter if you can’t use them to their fullest potential.

    Very clean and great sound

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - December 1, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought them based on a recommendation, and I really don’t regret it because they are very comfortable. The audio sounds very good—very clean—and they don’t make your ears hurt. The ear cushions are very comfortable, and they’re not heavy like other headphones. They don’t hurt or squeeze your head, and they’re very easy to use thanks to the buttons they have. The battery lasts a really long time, and it’s honestly something every gamer needs. They’re extremely comfortable, and I highly recommend them because they’re a good investment and they last a long time. The color matches my setup perfectly.
