[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shopping this against other wireless presenters for personal use, and admit that I was a little biased because I used the Logitech unit for work. But it put up with the constant use, travel, hooking into many different machines with many different versions of Windows without a hitch. It feels good (well built without being to heavy), doesn't have a steep learning curve, and it's easy to tell whether the unit is on/off, and figure out all the functionality without having to resort to a user guide. You can't really ask or much more than that in an accessory like this. Sure it costs $10 more, but you'll probably spend that returning the cheaper item.

I deliver a lot of PowerPoint presentations during the training and like to present from different areas in the computer room. This Logitech Presentation Pointer has allowed me to be in front, back or either side of the room. I can proceed forward or backward with the slides, use the laser point or black screen from anywhere in the room. It comes with a thumb drive that slides into the bottom of the Presentation Pointer. And it comes with a nice case to carry it in. It is very comfortable to hold and convenient to carry and easy to use. I have been very pleased with its performance and would buy another one when necessary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This presentation pointer was easy to install and has worked great for my PowerPoint needs. It does not say its compatible with Mac but I have had no issues using it with my MacBook Pro. All buttons and functions work like they should. Having to plug in the USB wireless receiver is kind of a pain but it's the price you pay or should I say not pay for not spending more on the better model. It's really not that big a deal. This pointer would have benefited from the upgraded green laser that the more expensive model boasts but the red one works fine provided your not displaying on a tv screen. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others needing a pointer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This control works well on both Word and Powerpoint files, and requires no setup: just plug in the USB receiver and off you go. However, we have had problems with it failing to advance through a Powerpoint if the computer it's connected to is in the midst of other electronic gear. I've set up the computer connected to a TV, beside a video camera and wireless mic system running through a mixer. I don't know if there's some kind of interference going on in the interaction of these various pieces, but for whatever reason every few slides the Powerpoint will randomly fail to advance when I push the advance button. When it's not in the thicket of other electronics, it works fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do presentations almost every day, and my presenters get millions of clilcks on them. After a while, I wear them out. The last one I had was a Targus, and I really liked it. I couldn't find another Targus that I liked, so I bough a Logitec. I normally like Logitec products, but this presenter was horrible. The laser pointer button was in front of the presenter buttons, so you had to reach over the presenter buttons to push it. Every time I tried to light the laser, I inevidable would change my slide. that was annoying to all, and a really poor design. I returned it after the first day. Watch out for that!

I currently have has changed slides for me something over 1000+ times and shined it's laser for hours on end over the years. Sometimes the sync between Bluetooth adapter and tool takes too long which gives a bad start to the presentation. This is a fantastic tool that does exactly what is designed to do. It changes slides forward and back with no hassle. The red laser pointer is very bright. It is comfortable in the hand and fits easily in your pants pocket. You can blank the slides with a simple click. I simply could not ask for more in a remote presenter type of tool. I am extremely happy with it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the ideal presenter's tool! It advances slides seamlessly and includes a laser pointer. It fits neatly in your palm and runs on two AAA batteries, which come with the device. It also connects via Logitech's transponder that slides right into the device itself; the device otherwise takes up minimal space and weight. It even comes with a small pouch to keep it protected. I carry it with me everywhere!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Logitech remote for a couple of PowerPoint presentations I had earlier this month and this remote worked flawlessly. I like the USB receiver that plugs into your laptop and communicates with the remote. Once your done with your presentation, unplug the USB receiver from your laptop and it stores neatly in the handle of the remote. I also liked the carry bag which is included with the remote.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We initially looked into getting a standalone laser pointer, but I realized the pricing wasn't much different to get this which, in addition to the laser pointer, includes integration with multiple programs to change slides or pages, as well as blank the projector screen before, after or in between presentations. It has made our presentations much more professional-looking and has reduced IT's burden of 'running the show' by clicking through the slides for the presenter. We now have these deployed with every projector in our company. The USB dongle is a bit large, but that does help with making sure it doesn't get left behind. Also includes a nice, padded case. Battery life is excellent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In a world of low-budget education, this device is adequately priced. It's ergonomic design makes it easy to hold in one hand, and the buttons to manipulate the controls are indented for ease of use. The controls are simple - forward, back, slide show, black screen and laser pointer. The USB connection piece slides into the device when not in use, and the carrying case is nicely padded. It fits in the palm of your hand and if you're a mobile person while presenting, this device is terrific - my students don't even notice I'm operating the device as I lecture. And yes, batteries are included!
