Perfect fit, makes typing easy, and protects

    Reviewed by - January 1, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect fit, makes typing easy, and protects. Logitech's Slim Folio Case protects the screen while also providing a great tactile feel in a keyboard. All the right iPad buttons, camera openings, finger print button, charging and microphone holes. I really like the rubber feel backing that keeps the unit from slipping off whatever surface I place it on. The bend in the case and magnetic iPad mount holds the screen and keyboard at the perfect angle for typing or for watching videos. Pairing was quick and foolproof. The button cell battery is rated for three (3) years, so no need to recharge, just open the case and get to work. Has a spot to hold my PENCIL stylus too. Everything I could need in a folio case/keyboard. Simple to use, install and remove.

    Great durable keyboard

    Reviewed by - January 5, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been in the market looking for a good keyboard case for my iPad Air 3. I did not want to spend too much on a keyboard case, which is why I did not want the Apple Smart Keyboard. Then I saw Logitech's case and immediately jumped on it as I have had great experiences with their brand on previous iPad's. My biggest concern was that this was designed for the 7th generation iPad, but as the 7th and Air 3 share similar designs, I wanted to see if it would work with the Air 3. After a few weeks of use, here are my thoughts: Pros: -Design. Yes, it will work for your Air 3. The 7th generation iPad is slightly thicker than the Air 3. But it fit perfectly in the case just VERY MINIMAL shaking. It WILL NOT fall out of the case and the sleep/wake fuction operates without incident. The back camera will slightly be covered but I don't use my iPad for taking pictures. -Keyboard: This is a good working keyboard. The buttons are hard, but it doesn't feel awkward typing and pressing on them. It feels like a traditional desktop keyboard and since Itraditionally type hard, this keyboard is able to handle it. It's not too small where I feel it's too compact (compared to the iPad Mini) and has enough spacing between the keys to give me good movement. -Power: This is where I feel Logitech did great in. There is no charging port for this keyboard case. Once you power it on, Logitech estimates about 4 years of battery life. I was confused to this at first but as I thought about it, in about 3 years you would already be considering a new iPad. And with each new iPad, the design changes and thus, you would need a new keyboard case. My 6th gen iPad's battery life was getting bad every week and was the reason why I bought the Air 3 (or even the 7th gen). After 4 years, I believe the average consumer would be ready to upgrade their iPad and accessories. This is a bold move and I don't find it wasteful at all for Logitech to move in that direction. -Durability: This is a solid case and one where I feel that my iPad is secured from being damaged. It also has a smooth feel to the outside and feels good in your hands. Cons: -None really Neutral: -Keyboard not backlit. I would have liked the option of having the keyboard backlit, but then again, the screen is so close to the keyboard that you can see the keys. -Pencil holder: I also have the Logitech Crayon which does fit into the pencil slot. It's a little too snug in there and does take some effort to move it in and out. At least I have the peace of mind that I will not loose my Crayon. Overall, I am very pleased with this keyboard case. Edit: I also got the 7th generation and it works perfectly as well with this case.

Pretty Nice - Especially for the price

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - March 20, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a slim case (vs the rugged ones) it has protected against the several drops I have already had. The keyboard pairs easily and stays connected. My only complaint would be a lack of caps lock notification. Other than that, especially at this price, I would buy it again and recommend it to others. (Lefties, as always, we must adapt.)

Excellent case and keyboard with great features!

    Reviewed by - January 1, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Verdict: Excellent case and keyboard with great features! Well worth the investment. Case. The case provides 360 degree protection for the iPad. The main case protecting the iPad is made of somewhat thick hard plastic and provides decent protection for the tablet. The flap with keyboard provides adequate protection for the screen and probably accounts for the bulk of the weight of the case. The case with iPad amounts to a fairly heavy system at 2 lbs and 4 ounces. I was surprised about the overall weight but I am ok with it. Connection. Initial connection was easy. As soon as the iPad case opens and the screen positioned on the magnets, the keyboards is available for pairing. From the Bluetooth menu, select “slim folio” to begin pairing. A window will appear on the screen with a code to input on the keyboard to complete pairing. I typed the numbers on the physical keyboard and hit enter. It connected right away. Note: I am not sure if pressing enter on the keyboard is actually necessary. Every subsequent connection is seamless. As soon as the screen is opened and connects to the magnets, the keyboard is on and working. It is quick and convenient, essentially turning your iPad into an ultra-portable laptop. Keyboard. The keyboard has slim keys that still provide nice tactile feedback. The spacing of the keys is adequate, allowing for normal full speed typing; I really have no complaint about the functionality of the keyboard. My favorite part of the keyboard are all the shortcut keys right on the physical keyboard, such as: “menu” button (circle bottom button on iPad), brightness, digital keyboard, volume, media keys, and even a quick emoji key to bring up the emoji panel on the iPad for modern communication! Things I love. - Strong magnet keeps the screen in place when open (and closed) - Storage for an Apple pencil - It just works, every time, all the time - Battery is advertised as 4 years of battery life - The case works well to watch movies, type, and fold flat to write with the Apple pencil Things I don’t love. - I would have preferred a rubber case instead of hard plastic to provide better fall protection for the iPad. - It is heavy, potentially defeating the point of having a light and portable iPad. I think the weight is fine given the added functionality, but it may not be good for everyone. Overall, this is a fantastic case. I absolutely love it and it has exponentially expanded the functionality of my iPad. I highly recommend it.

Amazing Keyboard, turns iPad into mini laptop

Reviewed by Anonymous reviewer - April 28, 2020

Bought this so I could add more function to the iPad, emailing, some light programming, IT related work. It takes the iPad which is very good for media consumption, emailing , and web surfing and it seriously unlocks a massive amount of function from the iPad. As for this particular model from Logitech, it’s a lot higher quality than I expected. Logitech has made numerous keyboards over the years for iPads, some of them good, some of them so so, but I’d rate this Slim Folio Keyboard case a definite 5/5. It turned out to be a lot better than I expected, very sturdy, keyboard is excellent to type on, keys are not mushy, but very firm and makes for a great typing experience. One thing to note, It has a back cover fo the iPad, and of course the Keyboard is the front case... so it add’s some thickness to the iPad, but it’s hard to circumvent that when you are in the market for a keyboard. Overall, I’m very satisfied, and after having used this and seen the potenional it can unlock with apps that work far better with a keyboard, I might just be leaving my MacBook at home far more often and just bringing this.
