What's included:

  • Folding wooden chess board with fitted storage
  • 34 chess pieces (16 dark, 16 light, plus 2 extra queens)

A classic wooden chess set built to travel. The folding board opens to a full 17 x 17 inch playing surface and folds to 17 x 8.5 inches, with a metal hinge and clasp that keep it shut on the go. Inside, fitted foam storage gives every piece its own slot, so the set packs away in seconds and nothing rattles loose. The 34 handmade-style pieces (16 dark, 16 light, plus 2 extra queens — one in each colour for pawn promotion) are magnetic with soft felt bases, so they stay where you place them and glide without scratching the board. The king stands approximately 3.54 inches (9 cm) tall.Warning: choking hazard — small parts. Not for children under 3 years. From Bigly Brothers, a Canadian company. 60-day returns, 1-year warranty.
