What customers are saying

The headphones offer good sound quality, comfortable fit, and long battery life, but some customers have experienced durability issues with the headband, ear cushions, and other components. Bluetooth connectivity and charging have also been problematic for some users. The overall quality and reliability of the product appear to be mixed based on customer feedback.

Question, I have these headphones for a couple of years and they are great. Good sound and long lasting battery. However, the pads are already falling apart, where can i get replacements? Am based here in Auckland New Zealand

Love the product - Appalled by the customer service

    Reviewed by Kerri - December 15, 2017

I bought 2 pairs of these in 2016, 1 of which stopped working a year later. Thankfully they have a 2 year warranty, great I thought, I'll have them replaced no problems. However Best Buy is not responsible for this replacement, House of Marley is. I spent 4 MONTHS trying to get these headphones replaced. It's not like they gave be a hard time about the warranty, they just never responded to any of my messages! 2 emails, 4 calls, 3 tweets... with only 1 semi helpful answered call. I just received my replacement, but I am so infuriated with the company's customer service, I just had to say my piece. I would not recommend them to anyone.

    Good buy!

    Reviewed by LNuneek - September 12, 2016

I just ordered these while they were on sale. Everything seems to work fine, so far. I initially had some trouble pairing it at first, but it seems fine now. Was able to pair with my phone and computer. On headphone controls work well with both. There is good volume on these. Decent amount of bass. Everything else is a little muffled sounding, but it's to be expected at this price range, and the brand itself doesn't deliver clarity in any of it's products, so it's to be expected. I knocked off one star only cause these are obviously not the perfect headphone. Pairing could have been a little better, and the sound just a touch clearer.

Annoying Bluetooth Light that constantly flickers

    Reviewed by - June 10, 2021

I generally like the feel and sound of these but was surprised when I first used them to listen to my TV while watching a movie. The lights were turned low for the screen and then all of a sudden out of the corner of my eye I see this blue light that cycled on the right side on my living room, strobing from back to front of the room. I though maybe an intermittent light outside on the street outside but no, it was the headphones! The tiny Bluetooth button on the right ear cup pulsates continuously when it is on and throws a reflection opposite to where you are sitting. Very distracting. I tried covering it with black electric tape but that stopped the signal.

    BUYER BEWARE

Reviewed by Don't buy House of Marley - October 6, 2020

I bought a pair of House of Marley Bluetooth headphones and within 4 months, the battery stopped holding a charge. I tried to exchange it at Best Buy, but they said that I had to deal with House of Marley directly. So, I contacted House of Marley and they told me ship the headphones back to them. I had to pay for shipping. They sent me another pair and the same problem happened 4 months later. There is something wrong with their batteries and they won't compensate for it. Read other reviews on other websites, and you'll see it's a common problem that they are not willing to fix.

Not for the average man's head

    Reviewed by - June 29, 2018

Purchased these about a week ago, overall they sound great no issues besides that they hurt my ear lobes from the pressure of them squeezing my ears against my head. I have every intention of keeping them, possibly letting my children use them. As I know they will be great quality. Ive owned another pair of House of Marley headphones for about 5 years with absolutely no problems and wanted to go over ear Bluetooth Not bad headphones but not for the average man's head. Which over ear headphones would House of Marley suggest I purchase? I stand behind the name, and understand different people have different sized heads!

    Genuinely Awful

    Reviewed by Kyle - November 21, 2017

Broken after 2 months. The plastic headband snapped while sitting on my head. No impacts, just happened suddenly while being worn. The quality of the microphone was also extremely disappointing, and due to driver issues it does not support voice chat at the same time as other functionality, i.e videos and audio will not play while a call is open. While this is a result of the Bluetooth technology used, it was a disappointing discovery nonetheless. The only upside was that the audio quality itself was fairly good for general use. Range is good. If you were using them solely as headphones to stream audio, they would be fine if not for the cheap construction. Do not buy these.

    There's nothing better.

    Reviewed by Derek - January 19, 2020

Reading the reviews is so crazy. If they break its your fault. I've owned 3 pairs and my current bt pair ive owned since 2017 and they STILL last 15 hours between charging, are comfy once broken in (kinda like a shoe). My job allows me to wear them all day and i listen to podcasts and music for 8-10 hours a day without cut out issues. The range of these seems to be about 30 feet with walls in between. I understand that with production sometimes you'll get a lemon and those are the people who leave reviews but id buy these headphones until the day i die. Ive tried other peoples bluetooth headphones and even Beats but the sound is so much better on these Marleys. People need to treat these with delicacy and care and they last for as long as you need them to.

I bought this product a month ago and i am really happy with it.the headphones are really comfortable and the padding is really soft.I like that they are made out of bio-degradeable plastic .I have been using these for about 6 months and they are really great however after 6 months the headphone padding has kind of become hard and uncomfortable.

Long term review - excellent value for money

    Reviewed by - March 2, 2022

I very rarely write a review, but these are great. I've owned mine for at least 5 years, possibly longer and they have never caused any issues. I use them several hours per week, mainly for podcasts / YouTube and occasionally for music, but I am no audiophile. They have been excellent value for money. The battery, Bluetooth connectivity, charging port, buttons, none of these have ever caused any issues. They are comfortable for long-term wear. The material on the cups is only just starting to fall apart, but I won't be getting rid of them anytime soon. Good job making a lasting product!
