[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove looks great - it's an updated version of an electric model I bought 12 years ago. I love the double oven feature. This one has one less shelf in the bottom oven portion which is disappointing. My stove does have some defects, however. There is a small dent on the side of the stove which was reported to Whirlpool by the delivery company. The pain on top of top is really wavy and looks like it was smudged up and then poorly recovered. The back panel of the range looks like it was installed improperly as the tabs are not tucked under the upper piece.

This is the worst range I have ever purchased and it was not cheap. It is made of very cheap infrared material. It scratches if you just look at it. I have burned myself so many times because of the bad design. It bakes uneven. I am a baker and I have ruined so many of my bake goods because of how uneven this oven bakes. We purchased this range at the end of November and have to get items replaced already. They are going to send a replacement range because of the ongoing issues. I hope this is a one time thing. I don’t know what happened to Maytag but they have went down.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have had this range for 5 months and it’s a great range. However, I have had the knobs replaced twice (just to note only only got 4 of 5 required each time), as the marking on the knob would wipe off after getting anything on them. Being on the front of the range it is impossible not to get some frying spatter on the knobs while cooking. Then wiping off with nothing but paper towel the level (high, med, low) and off and light markings would wipe off, EVEN THE NEW KNOBS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Maytag double oven range. I purchased the last one when we built our home in 2003, and our appliances were black. I loved it. This year we updated our 20-year-old kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances. My new range is the same double oven model. I hope this one lasts as long as the old one. So far it seems perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about a month ago when we were doing a complete kitchen remodel. We love the double ovens. Everything cooks evenly. It has a nice professional look to it and is easy to keep clean. My son fell in love with the griddle feature and uses it daily. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there are 2 things that make it not perfect. 1) you can easily accidentally turn on the gas to the burners just by bumping into it. Several times I’ve smelled gas and noticed a knob just slightly off center. I’m not sure how this can happen, but it really should be changed so that doesn’t happen. 2) the back function panel is a bit annoying. The touch pad is difficult to use. You can’t just press on a pad and keep your finger down to advance settings, you have to keep pushing the pad. I feel like the panel will probably break down fairly quickly. If Maytag can correct those 2 flaws in this stove it would definitely get 5 stars!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a hard time finding this in stock, but once I got delivery confirmation, all has been good. This stove looks great. Nothing about it looks or feels inexpensive. I am super pleased with it and look forward to getting some great use out of it. I have not had a double before, but appreciate the energy efficiency of the smaller oven option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit works nicely, but design prevents top of stove from sitting flush with counter top because we have Formica countertops. Due to too much heat directly against the counter. I wish I had known this before I purchased it. Bottom door is still crooked even after warranty replaced hinges/receivers for the door.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this with a kitchen remodel 3 months ago to replace a previous Maytag stove. Love the double oven and the extra burner on top! Sleek no fingerprint stainless with attractive look and features. Also Has convection capabilities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove cooks, bakes, roasts, convects, and self cleans like a dream. However, the quality control for the appliance is not great. We have had this range for less than six months, used it moderately, and the heat shields on the oven floors have both warped from the heat, the (I’m guessing plastic) coating on the stove knobs on the front has bubbled/warped from the heat, and the electronics went haywire when I was trying to roast my Thanksgiving turkey. The electronics issue required us to unplug the stove for 10 minutes to reset before I could resume to oven use. Simple fix, but had to pull the stove out from the wall to access the outlet.

We bought this range and had problems with the delivery handling the stove properly. Maytag/Whirlpool stepped up and replaced the entire stove. We love it. BUT the one problem we have is that the knobs to turn on the gas are easily bumped and then turned on.They should have a push detent or something like this so the know can't be turned without pushing it in first. We have been doing a lot of work in our kitchen with the upgrades and have bumped the knobs 3 times without realizing it. Our kitchen smelled like propane. So we have installed a propane gas sensor to alert if this happens. Work on the knob design and you have a great stove!
