[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a radio for my boyfriend for christmas and was leaving for the Air Force 5 weeks after Christmas. When I got him the radio I didnt realize I needed to make an appointment for him, so when he called they were all booked up..but I told the guy my situation and he was more than happy to put it in for me! This guy did an amazing job installing it, very fast and very helpful! Thank you so much for your work and thank you for making time to install my boyfriends radio so he could enjoy it before he left for the military! I appreciate it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have you ever tried to receive radio signals with out an antenna? Don't ... it's futile. All that nonsense your grandparents tried to teach you about tin foil is silly. Won't work nearly as well as a good ol' factory antenna adapter. This one worked out just fine. I could pick up every AM/FM channel I ever dreamed of hearing and some I don't want to hear again. We put ours in a 1999 Chevy Silverado. With any luck it will work in your vehicle too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item as a package which included a new radio for my 2005 Silverado. It has the features I wanted like multiple inputs so I can listen to audio books on long trips and a way to charge my cell phone without a specific car charger. I also enjoy the hands free cell phone use I get now. What I don't like (but it is getting better now that I am able to get some practice with the radio) is how the buttons are so sensitive. I will retrieve my sunglasses from the slot underneath the radio face and accidentally hit a button changing the station or I will not hold the source button long enough and the radio will change source instead of turning off. Worse of all, if I touch the volume control wrong the radio will go into setup mode instead of adjusting the volume. All in all I am happy with the package, the radio and the installation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I returned this for a refund simply because I had purchased a radio that did NOT need the adapter. I do "most" of my own installs, and tend to buy items to make the install go smoothly and avoid stopping during the middle of working to drive to BB in order to purchase a necessary part. This was one of those purchases, I simply did not need the item. It does work just as advertised.

I get reception on my radio like the antenna is connected even though I can't see it, so but I'm pretty sure it's connected. You know because my radio works even though I don't listen to it very much because I'm a CD kind of guy. CDs are fading out I feel like an old hippie hanging on to my eight tracks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using this adaptor, my radio reception is much worse than when I had the factory system in the vehicle. In fairness, it could be a problem with the install, but with the new setup the AM is useless, and the FM is very weak. The only reason I'm recommending it is that you have no choice... you have to have an adapter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it's annoying to discover upon buying your stereo, this antennae is a requirement for installing an aftermarket stereo into your GM vehicle. The stereo itself will come with a regular antennae, but GM vehicles come with a mirco. This adapter allows you to connect your GM antennae to your new aftermarket radio.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation on this stereo was perfect. I would definitely use this best on Colonial again for a stereo install in my car. They are very nice are quick to install and keep you informed. The look is fabulous and you can't tell they installed anything in you car. Clean install no wires can be seen.
