Because SLR cameras have a reflex mirror structure and a longer flange focal distance, the focal length of a Canon EF pancake lens is 38mm f/10. It will not focus within two meters but will focus beyond two meters. This is different from a mirrorless camera.

This lens is compatible with all for Canon EF-mount digital SLR cameras. It cannot be used with Canon EFM and RF mirrorless cameras! (Unless the corresponding EF-mount adapter is used.) It cannot be used with digital cameras without interchangeable lenses!

First, set your camera to "M" mode. Every camera has this setting; you'll need to be patient to find it, or consult the manual. It's generally recommended to use AV or M mode.

Tips: Using a small aperture lens in low light will slow the shutter speed, resulting in blurry images. It's recommended to set the ISO to Auto (up to 6400) and keep the shutter speed above 1/50.

Compatible Cameras: All for Canon EF/EFS-mount SLR cameras
