This CD contains an insane, angular, aggressive soundtrack for David Lynch's failed sci-fi beast of a movie, Dune... an unlikely approach that results in a fantastic album. It takes more than human guts to dish out the beating that Louisville, KY's Nero gives the senses with the nearly 18-minute long improvisational album-closer, "Kwizzach Haderach." Within this track, dialogue samples from Dune are alternately buried and brought to the surface, while Nero relentlessly tweaks and hacks away at building a colossal, disturbing drone. It's absolutely maniacal - which is the best way to describe Nero.
