[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been playing the EA NHL franchise since NHL 94’ and I love these games but every year a new copy comes out and it’s the same old game with a few stupid new gimmicks, and a TON of new exploits exposed online by cheaters. It wouldn’t be so bad if they fixed the previous years exploits, but they don’t address any of them so every year with the new release, it’s just more glitch goals and exploits exposed and it starts to add up. Try playing online in any mode and you will have trouble finding a game where the other players don’t just automatically go right to scoring with the glitch goals. It makes it unplayable. Get your **** together EA before you lose yet another customer. PS: offline modes are super fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase and play the EAsports NHL every year for the past six years if not longer. I mainly play the EASHL which allows for the competing online. While I cant help myself but buy the game every year, there's a lot of negatives to the game that I wish they would fix. For one, many people including myself believes year after year, it's mostly a roster update that you're paying $60 and the game doesnt change that significantly. The one think i cant stand about EASHL is they made 3v3 and 6v6 a year ago. However, since they did that, it takes much longer to match up because they essentially divided their population by two where sometimes, if you dont have enough people playing, it makes a big difference when your wait time is several minutes out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty much the same as last year with a change to a few things, the menus are better, the announcing is a better guy but not much variety in what he says. Gameplay is super smooth and challenging as ever to pull off those dirty dangles. More than enough to keep you busy with single player and online modes. If you haven’t hopped on the nhl wagon yet, it’s the most frustrating game you’ll not want to put down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't played or owned past versions of EA Sports NHL games, so I can't compare it to previous versions. I debated between getting NHL 19 and NHL 20, but I settled on NHL 20 because it was on sale during Black Friday. I really like hockey, so it's been a fun game to play. The controls haven't been as complex to learn as NBA2K20. The graphics are also good. All in all it is a very fun game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband gets this NHL game every year. He loves owners mode. He loves that he is able to make his own team including the style and colors. And create his own arenas, mascot, promotion give away and do everything that's involve with owning a hockey team. 4 stars is because although it's a great game the graphics are still similar to NHL19. But still a very good game to get for hockey fans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Game is fun if you like hockey. Like ALL games bugs are in the game. Graffics on some cards are pixelated some shots in the game. Game play is smooth compared to Madden. I think the HUT solos are good and the rewards are pretty good. Madden should take note to the better rewards. Franchise mode is also fun. Other modes still yet to be played. All in all fun game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] NHL 20 is what you would expect. A fun hockey game that slightly builds on the improvements made over the last edition. Customization of character is a bit confusing as cosmetics are abundant. The menu screens can lag at times but overall easy to navigate. I never regret buy EA NHL titles because I always find the game play fun and challenging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought all the NHL's starting back in the early 00s and each year there are simple updates either to the game play and/or the graphics and NHL 2020 was one of the biggest changes yet. The game is solid, it's a little faster than 'normal real game' speed, but overall it's the best NHL to date and I'd def recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think my first EA NHL game was NHL99 and I have owned every one since. This game, like all the others, takes it up one more notch to provide fast action and solid skills. If you had a go to move in NHL19, hope the goalies haven't figured it out in NHL 20 but there's a chance. Great addition to the collection!
