[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ninja Foodi cold and hot is so amazing. I used the recipe that came with it for the tomato basil soup and it turned out so yummy. Super easy! I was intrigued at the process. The last step that turns it into a smooth soup takes 30 minutes. The soup was piping hot! I decided to go ahead and also make the recipe provided for chicken noodle soup. I added my vegetables at the wrong step so it chopped them up but still tastes so good. The fact that you can throw in raw chicken and it cooks it, is so awesome. I added egg Noddles when there was 6 minutes left in the last step. Up next.....ice cream!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a member of Bazaarvoice TryItSampling and received for free a Ninja Foodi Cold and Hot Blender to sample and give my honest feedback on. I could not hold back my tears when I got the blender out of the box. I knew this would be my first and only blender I would ever need. The first thing I made was a margarita and it was fantastic. I went to clean it and just put a drop of dish liquid with water and stood in amazement to watch itself clean. You can make frozen drinks, smoothies and even crushed ice for snow cones. Also I can make soups, sauces and even chopped peppers, onions and garlic and add them in some salsa. It comes with a 64oz glass pitcher, 12 preset auto IQ smart programs and a 1400 peak watt motor and a 25 recipe inspiration guide. I would recommend this to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family own a few blenders that are considered high quality. This review was a bit tough for me to write up because I have the background of using other blenders. Let's just go with pros and cons. Pros: Great variety of presets Unique heating function Comes with quick recipe book Solid material construction Cons: Super heavy glass pitcher Blender bottom does not detach which causes difficulty in cleaning Cannot submerge the glass pitcher or heating function will get destroyed Short electric cord Now that the pros and cons are listed. We tried a few of the recipes and really like them. The one my kids really liked was the Alfredo sauce. Blades are strong and sharp. Glass jar is solid. Base is solid. Blender motor is medium to high noise output and has enough strength to blend without amping out. Just make sure you use a 20 amp circuit if you use the heating function because this thing gets hot. If it draws too much power it will trip your circuit breaker. I am leaning more towards recommending than not because the only Crux I dinged it on was the glass pitcher issue. The other functions are great. Happy blending/cooking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a smoothie enthusiast I enjoy making adventurous healthy smoothies with raw ingredients. I want a smooth and finely blended drink as my end result. I was impressed with this Ninja blender’s ability to help me obtain a liquefied smoothie without grit and small chunks. The blender is a solid appliance that looks bold and stands out on your counter space. This is one heavy unit as well. The glass pitcher should be handled with care as you’ll need a strong wrist to hold it steady even when empty. The blades on this particular blender are placed only at the bottom, which is different than my previous experience with Ninja blenders and the spiral of blades that stand vertical inside the pitcher. So the catch with this Ninja blender is that it’s so much more than just a cold drink blender. This blender has an internal heating element built in which can heat up foods and liquids within the pitcher. The jar states the heating element should not be submerged under water or dishwasher use, so be mindful of properly caring for the unit. This can be a set it and forget it like appliance which should make my life easier in the future. With auto program buttons that can help with smooth soups or hearty soups I felt this blender was a multi-use appliance. It helped to chop and sauté some of my veggies and heats them up. I added some broth and seasonings and a short while later with the smooth soup setting I had a creamy sweet potato soup loaded with veggies and ingredients that are meant to help my longevity and well-being. I am impressed for sure with this unit making my heart healthy smoothies in the mornings, and warm comfort food soup for my family in the evenings. You can even make ice cream and frozen desserts within this. I’m still experimenting with formulating that correctly as my first attempt was attributed to improper ingredient measurement. Overall, it’s a great value for the blender / appliance because it does have the auto IQ program buttons that make it more convenient for the user operating it to be able to set it and forget it. Walk away and come back to a countdown timer that helps you plan on when you’ll be enjoying your food. This comes with a base unit, glass pitcher and locking lid, a tamper, and cleaning tool. This also can clean itself with the use of the heating element and soap/water. Rinse it out and it’s good to go for another use in the future. The blades are extremely sharp inside and I found out the hard way. My previous ultra-premium branded blender had a mixing unit at the bottom but was dull and therefore couldn’t cut your finger. Ninja has a good product in the lineup with this and it’s very versatile. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shark - Ninja® Foodi™ Cold & Hot Blender is a very new and different blender this blender has a variety of feature, is a hot and cold blender and the quality of blender is amazing. This blender is very new and different in my opinion because the glass pitcher has a heating element, the lid securely latches on to pitcher and locks tightly in place. Also this blender has a self cleaning feature and I also like this keeps blender sanitary and clean that is longer lasting. It also has a veiwable measure for hot & cold temps that is clearly visible, very easy instruction. You also have to options to remove lid, you can rotate smaller lid counterclockwise or the larger lid by turning and lining up arrows to take lid off. The quality of blender is amazing the bottom of blender is a very large durable plastic, that grips countertop nicely and stays in place. The top of blender is a very thick durable glass, that is very large in size, offers a nice capacity and is labeled/measures nicely. The blender has a nice thick handle grip that is very sturdy and easy to hold. The blades look very durable and strong, look & feel as they will last a long time. There are so many features that this blender offers and is very detailed and neatly placed.Mosyt of the features are time controlled and this makes it more convient, incase you have to grap something very quick from fridge, answer phone etc. Some of the cool otions that I love is the extract, I am big on keeping myself healthy and drink alot of health drinks, this is definitely a all in one crushes seeds and stems providing the healthiest nutrients my body needs. This blender crushes ice great in such a little time and crushes it so fine with no chunks. With this blender you have Auto IQ programs which are timed and range from cold to hot, examples are frozen drinks, smoothies, sauces, soups and cocktails. You also have manual settings such as blend cook and pulse so I love you have a variety of options to fit your needs. I also like pitcher fits right on top no turning twisting to get it to work it has the logo very large on front so you automatically know that this is the front, then it just easily fits in place.You can also heat up and keep warm sauces and soups. This blender comes with booklets with recipes and all info on product, I can't wait to use some of these recipes! I have used blender to make juices like watermelon, cantaloupe. I used it to make a green salsa kept it very warm and fresh till my family got home. This product is very easy to clean and comes with a nice cleaning brush to get the hard to reach places.Some of the cons with this product is it is very big and bulky, heavy at times. This blender does not fit under my cabinets on countertop so I have to use up space for bottom motor base and space for pitcher. Another issue is this definately has to be handwashed which is very understandable because of heating element. This blender is a bit heavy when pouring , hand washing etc but it does have great quality so it is not a huge problem, makes it easier to hold by using both hands. It does have a 3 prong cord for older homes that may not have the 3 prong cords this would be a issue, I have 3 prong kitchen electrical outlet and when this is plugged in makes it harder to plug other appliances in due to very bulky 3 prong cord. I would definately recommend this product to others lots of features, very durable and high quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I just got my blender recently and generally, I wait to write about how I feel about my kitchen stuff because I've used items in the past and at first it's great but the item doesn't live up to the glory! Ninja might have just figured out how to cut out a mini crockpot and melded food processing, blending, cooking and pouring it into bowls directly. Living in Texas I depend on chili, queso and tomato bisque. All of those will easily work in this Ninja. I had a Ninja that had the cleaning function before and I've really missed that. You won't regret taking this little appliance on and sparking conversations around it in your kitchen. Recently I've taken on having my guests be a part of the process of cooking since it makes it engaging for everyone with a cocktail or wine! The only pitfall for me is that a vessel that carries food cannot be submerged in water. So if food splashes or leaks onto the bottom of the pitcher you pretty much have to be super careful cleaning it. The instructions stress do not submerge the glass pitcher in water. The pitcher itself is very nice and hearty and reminds me of industrial barn home chic! Storing it was easy after the self cleaning function which I loved. The brush attachment for cleaning and the attachments are easy to store and use. With fall and winter coming I can't wait to have family gatherings to incorporate the Foodie with all my guests. Queso recipes this winter are going to be smashing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this 4+ times per week since I got it. I love soup and now it is so quick and easy to make. The Ninja Foodi Cold/Hot blender sautes first and when done I add the rest of the ingredients. Not only do I use less pots and pans (less clean up) but I no longer have to cut ingredients into small pieces. I have sensitive eyes and cutting onions burns but with this blender I only have to quarter them, add butter and it does the sauteing. It the first picture you can see the size of the butternut squash I used. No shredding or chopping into small pieces. The unit heats up and chops a little and cooks. Then more chopping etc, until the very end when it blends until smooth. Also, the unit buzzes before each chop so that you can make sure the lid is on (you can open a hole on top to add ingredients or spices. When done, the soup is hot and ready to serve and all you have to clean up is the one unit. BTW, it also has a button to auto clean if items get stuck inside (I have not had that happen yet). I have made so many different smooth soups and my friends are thrilled. I have become the go to person when home made soup is yearned for. They just bring me the ingredients and containers to bring them the soup LOL. While I haven't made hearty soups yet I have made sauces. Picture #4 is from my first attempt at Alfredo sauce. So fast , easy and delicious. The Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender comes with a recipe book with delicious recipes to start with and suggestions on how to whip up your own recipe. I believe every home needs this. Soup & sauces in winter and frozen drinks & desserts in the summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product for free.This is a big appliance for multiple uses.For smoothies,extracts,frozen drinks,puree,sauces and it's also possible to cook soups with it.I tried it out for smoothies and for a milkshake with ice cream.All came out good mixed.The blender is pretty loud and the pitcher with the heating element is really heavy and bulky and not easy to handle.The pitcher is also not easy to clean because you can't submerge it.I use the clean program what is heating up water with dish soap in the pitcher but I still have to wash the pitcher out by hand because it's not totally clean.That is a minus for the otherwise good working product what could be a good help for a family with kids/babies.I recommend this product for people with enough strength for the heavy blender.
