The emails pretty much all arrived in my spam box, however anyone with a bit of email knowledge should easily be able to figure that out otherwise that's pretty pathetic

There is no information on how these work. Does someone have to physically activate a code here or is this entire process automated?? We had someone come visit for Christmas that was not expected to arrive, they have a switch and I wanted to give them a quick gift but it's Christmas Day and everything is closed. I figured a digital email code would be the best way to do it without actually taking their switch and putting my credit card on it myself or giving them cash. Estimated "delivery" for a digital code is December 29???? I am worried I made the wrong decision here.

So Nintendo doesn’t accept Amex or PayPal, so I ordered this online thinking that I would get it right away. It took days to receive, and for some reason even though all other emails from Best Buy came through, the digital code went to my spam folder. I felt like an idiot when I found it while on the phone with the return dept. The time I wasted I should have just driven to town to get a card.

It's been nearly a week and I still haven't received this "digital download". Why does a digital download need to be "shipped" and tracked? I have never purchased an online gift card that wasn't available instantly. This is the worst experience I've had. I had to give my friend an IOU for her birthday.

There were plenty of Nintendo eShop gift cards of all denominations available in my local Best Buy (Canada). The wording on the website here makes it seem like the only possible way to obtain them is through the online store. I understand that the "digital download" only makes sense online, but why not also advertise availability of the physical cards?

The status said that my order's fulfillment was complete but i have yet to receive anything in my email box and the payment has already been made. Also, i tried to contract them the day I was supposed to receive it and i didnt not get any feedback from Best Buy even after 24 hours (even though it says that I will get an answer within 24 hours). Overall, I do not recommend any digital downloads from Best Buy

The code was delivered in a reasonable amount of time and worked as expected.

DO NOT ORDER THESE GIFT CARDS. My order has now been canceled twice in a span of a week, without any kind of notice, just me wondering why I haven’t received my order yet.. I purchased the gift card for my nephews birthday and now I feel like a terrible aunt for the delayed gift! And Best Buy has once blamed my credit card (which I then tried another) and now it’s a security issue that could be the problem?! NEVER AGAIN.

Bestbuy did not deliver gift card. Escalated issue and still no resolution. Product delivery is as basic as it gets with digital based deliveries.
