The Google Nest Doorbell (Wired) is a smart security camera designed to monitor front doors around the clock. Replacing traditional wired doorbells, it uses existing low-voltage wiring to provide continuous power without requiring battery recharges.

Features HDR video capture and night vision for clear recording in bright sunlight or darkness. Its tall field of view allows homeowners to view visitors head-to-toe and check packages left directly on the porch ground.

The two-way audio feature with noise cancellation lets homeowners speak directly to visitors via the Google Home app. Alternatively, pre-recorded quick responses allow automated replies when unavailable. It integrates into the Google Home ecosystem, streaming video directly to Google Nest Hub displays or ringing chimes through connected smart speakers.

Out of the box, the device offers standard event history clip previews. Subscribing to Google Nest Aware unlocks extended event recording history and familiar face recognition, while Nest Aware Plus enables 24/7 continuous video history.
