Panasonic DPUB420K High Definition Blu-ray Players support a variety of HDR formats, including HDR10, the industry standard for film and UHD Blu-ray discs. They now support HDR10+ dynamic metadata playback, the next new gen standard. They also work with Hybrid Log-Gamma. Panasonic’s original better picture technologies work together to create a synergistic effect that allows further precise image expression.HDR optimizer to improve content clarity

Panasonic’s proprietary image processing technologies produce higher-definition HDR images. Tone mapping is a technique for adjusting the brightness of content. 4K High-Precision Chroma Processor

Innovations from Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory, the base for Blu-ray Disc Research and Development are applied to Panasonic’s unique “4K High Precision Chroma Processing”. A multi-tap chroma process converts 4K image colour transmissions (4:2:0) into 4K (4:4:4) for natural elements and depth.
