- I seem to always be low on ink- March 17, 2017
I know this is a review for a black ink cartridge. However, I must talk about the printer first and foremost. While our Canon printer works well, it seems to use ink at an alarming rate. I feel like I'm always buying ink for our Canon printer. The price of a single cartridge doesn't seem so high, but I'd like to get more life out of a cartridge. They sell the colored inks and a black cartridge in a bundle, but they never seem to end at the same time and I'm often having to buy individual colored cartridges. When I buy my next printer I'll be sure to read reviews about the ink and check out the price per cartridge.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Canon Only!- January 19, 2017
Always purchase the replacement ink cartridges made by Canon for my Canon printers. Do not want to take a chance using "after-market" ink and possibly clogging or damaging the ink jet.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Good quality ink!! BUT a little pricey!!- February 9, 2020
Great Canon quality black ink for all our needs!! Have been using Canon ink for some time now and it's good quality. Doesn't seem to bleed off when we use it for all our printing needs as some inks tend to, About the only thing I took off one star is maybe the price. Granted it's black ink, YOU do pay a little more for brand name one such as Canon!! YES we could upgrade to a printer that monitors the amount of ink left and adjust for prints so that ink will not just waste fast, BUT at this point since we have an existing Canon printer, would hate to upgrade to such a printer and we still have ink up to now, it's just you have to choose what type of output quality you want to conserve it. Overall good Canon quality ink!!Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- I've learned to just buy the real Canon cartridges- December 4, 2015
After a few years of buying off-brand (cheap) ink cartridges and having all kinds of problems with smudged, unreadable printouts, I've learned to just splurge and buy the real cartridges from Canon, at least for the black ones. You might be able to get away with the cheap stuff for color. Now I have confidence that boarding passes, documents and bar codes will print cleanly. This cartridge was actually a few dollars less than listed, also had just received a 5 dollar off coupon so pretty reasonable price.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Good ink cartridge; costs too much- April 24, 2015
Canon ink cartridges do a fine job when used in my Canon printer. i have never had a problem with clogs or blobs of ink on my photos. The main problem with Canon ink cartridges, as with all ink cartridges, is that they are too expensive. As a result, it is always less expensive to have photos printed at Wal-Mart or Target than it is to print them myself. At home I print only photos I need in a hurry. If I don't need a print immediately I go to Wal-Mart to have photos printed.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
