- Quality down prices up??- December 6, 2020
Phillips has gone downhill. I began with hue products buying a starter kit with 3 bulbs and a Hue Bridge for relatively good deal. And they worked great. Later a lcd light strip came along and it was pricey but worked well and still does. So Dave then, they seem to value their products ( and their logo) more than they do quality. I got this gradient strip and a second light strip. Both are defective. Both. And it was brand new and over $200 for a gradient stop that when bent around the curves of my TV the lights in each corner short out or something and either don’t work or only green works on the corners. Very disappointingNo, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s very nicely package when you receive it very easy to set up. Although the strips for the size of the tv isn’t much. I put the 75inch light strip on my 75 inch tv and it only managed to cover half my tv, mostly the top and a bit on the sides. I did expect it to go all the way around but it doesn’t cover the bottom. I also think for the price I wish I would have waited only because they are coming out with many more affordable fairly priced light strips that do the same and sync to the tv color imagines. Other then that for the most part they work very nicely with an exception of adding more lights towards the bottom.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Worth the wait- March 24, 2021
The gradient light strip makes watching shows so much more fun. I had a little trouble finding the right distance from the edge of the TV to install it, but once I got that sorted, the installation was a breeze. It helps that I already had a sync box so I didn't have to set it up. I'm sure we will eventually get used to it, but right now there is at least once a night where I marvel at how enjoyable the wall of color synced with the TV is. I waited a long time for the 55" light strip to come back into stock and the wait was worth it. My only small nit is that I wish it went around the bottom of the TV.
