[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it for my 43-inch monitor and it works just fine. I can download the synchro software and use light and sound syncing to play games and watch videos without feeling any lag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a great improvement for what hue is trying to accomplish. I really enjoyed what these lights can do to an entertainment area. however it’s not made with all TVs in mind. Most consumers won’t have an issue installing this product. certain TVs can make installing the gradient strip a bit challenging and In some cases it’s unfortunately impossible. The challenge was due to the dramatic change in size of one of my TVs going from being less than 0.5mm thick to 4.5cm thick. I’m not gonna bother on my TVs that are literally up against the wall

My husband saw this new light that goes around the TV and we did not hesitate to purchase. It makes watching movies TV video games listening to music a completely different Experience. I am more than happy that we have purchased this, it makes movie night so awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this on my Samsung 49" Odyssey Gaming Monitor Awesome, unreal! I do also have 6 other Hue lights in the area and use Hue sync software on the PC to run it all.

Even if your are not using a sync box you can set it to soft or natural white light in the background when watching movies. it reduce eye stain and make movie watching more fun. build quality is solid. I been using it for almost 7 months without any issues. the app is very responsive and you almost have unlimited choices of colors. even if your are not watching TV, you can turn the light on with your computer app and sync it to the music. the light change and response to every beat of the music and creates a very enjoyable atmosphere. when ever I have friends over they all love the lights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Phillips has gone downhill. I began with hue products buying a starter kit with 3 bulbs and a Hue Bridge for relatively good deal. And they worked great. Later a lcd light strip came along and it was pricey but worked well and still does. So Dave then, they seem to value their products ( and their logo) more than they do quality. I got this gradient strip and a second light strip. Both are defective. Both. And it was brand new and over $200 for a gradient stop that when bent around the curves of my TV the lights in each corner short out or something and either don’t work or only green works on the corners. Very disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product does not do any gradient of lights unless you are using it for your computer or you purchase an additional $250 Hue HDMI Tv Box. There is no functionality in the app to have the strip due multiple colors. The only way to do multiple colors for this light strip is if you purchase the Hue HDMI Box, or have the app on your computer and use it specifically for your computer. All in all, the naming for this product is misleading as well as Philips on the functionality of the product. Oh yeah the last kicker is Philips said they will look into adding multiple color control for one strip on the app, they said this back in 2020, 2 years too late.
