These speakers sound great, look great, are easy to install and can handle ANY weather. Noticed a few reviewers mentioning brining these speakers in for the winter, which I did as well when I first got them. That said, I have now owned mine for somewhere between 6-8 years and have left them outside through Winnipeg winters for the last 3 of those years. They are attached to the privacy wall of my deck and have no covering on them. They still look and function the same as the day I bought them. Expensive? Yes. Will you ever need to buy another pair? No. Worth every penny.

Easy and convenient mounting system. Sound quality is exceptional. Took them in for winter and within seconds was up and running again in spring. Sound is fantastic. Mounting allows you easily to change angle and sound distribution in seconds in case you want to focus on different parts of the backyard/porch/etc. I'm writing this review because I'm looking to buy a 2nd pair for inside my Pool Cabana and am shocked at the awesome price compared to those single smart speakers (which is fantastic in my office at work which i hope i'll see soon). And since the voice control is a "nice to have", i'll add a second pair rather than spending hundreds more since i already have a Onkyo network ready receiver in my Cabana.

I purchased a set in the spring of 2017, and installed them at the cabin. Just over a year late the woofer driver in one of the speakers burnt out. I couldn't find my proof of purchase, however the the staff at Best Buy were able to recover a duplicate receipt once I told them the date of purchase and method of payment. Once provided with proof of purchase Polk Audio sent me a replacement driver under warranty no questions asked.

We are very impressed with the sound quality of these speakers and we bought them on sale. Definitely worth the price. We do cover them as ours are not in a covered outdoor area. They sound great even with the plastic bags over them if not removed. Will be bringing them in for the winter as they will be sitting in the snow if not brought in. My bonus purchase for being home all the time for COVID-19 and they bring pleasure to my backyard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've mounted these speakers on my newly built deck. They are excellent for the size deck I had built. The sound is rich and clear. I love them. I'm thinking about buying two more for an even bigger sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not usually a big fan of Polk speakers. In fact, I was a bit underwhelmed with a set of Polk in-wall/ceiling speakers I purchased at my last house. However, my opinion of these Atrium 4 outdoor speakers is nothing but positive: great sound quality; very efficient; and reasonable lower bass levels considering the speaker size. For this price range, I am quite pleased with the dynamic and transparent sound imaging. I was fortunate to find these on sale for $100, but I wouldn't complain if I paid the typical $200 retail. They are worth it. Easy to install, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these speakers indoors and outdoors with no problem. I placed 4 of these speakers in a commercial kitchen, and the staff loves it. Also place 5 of these as surround sound speakers in a residence. Sounds great. The white speakers blended right into the ceiling. They are easy to install and aim. The other reviews that state they don't have enough power are confused. First of all these are not active speakers, they don't have an amp built in. Therefore the amount of "power" going through these speakers is related to the amount of power coming from your amplifier, not the speakers themselves. Now these are obviously not high end speakers, but they are much better then some of the packaged surround sound kits you can buy.

Installation was easy. The mounting bracket gave several options for mounting including in the corner where the wall and ceiling meet. The speaker kind of “snaps” into the bracket and holds temporarily so you can attach the screws. I have them installed in the garage for some background music while I wash the cars or do some other work. They are replacing some in-ceiling speakers that were part of an integrated whole home audio that gave up on me. I figured a outdoor speaker would be a better choice than the in ceiling speakers even though it’s in the garage. Don’t expect to have a dance party or do any critical listening with these but if your looking for some background audio for an outdoor application then these are a good value IMO.

Bought these speakers for a basement home gym wall mounted. They are decent background speakers to a fill a room that is about 10 x 20'. However, many people mentioned that they offer good bass. They are more 'boomy' than 'heavy' bass. The lows are similar to a boom box but the highs make up for it. Being only a 2 way, it definitely need a subwoofer if you're after a more complete sound. I would recommend these speakers for low to medium volume. When turned up high they just 'boom' rather than a complete package speaker out of the box.

I have lots of different equipment from low end to high end. So setting up a system for the back yard meant getting decent speakers at a decent price. These were on sale so I was able to get two sets and that was a great bonus as I didn't have to get cheapo speakers instead. Very nice detailed sound. If you mount in a soffit the sound is better as they use the building to enhance the sound. Only complaint is that the rear binding posts can't accept standard banana plugs. but are designed really for bare wire or spade connection.
