[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a bit pleased with this knife sharpener. I have had several of the kind you just pull the knife thru and they do not last very long. So I bought an electric. But this one is the pits. NO guts. You can not put any pressure on it because it stops the wheels. Just the weight of the knife will stop it. I would send it back except I threw the box away before I tried the sharpener. I am just stuck with a bad piece of junk that I will eventually throw away. I have tried it twice and I will try it one more time to see if there is a way to make it work. It was cheap and I got what I paid for, but a complete waste of money. It's a Presto. I can not believe they made a piece of junk. They goofed. I won't give it one star. It don't work

i bought mine over 10 years ago and its still going strong. I gift it to people as i am going to do today because it has made my kitchen experience soooo much better!

Motor seems underpowered as it is easy to bog it down. Knives are sharper. Directions regarding which way to lean the knife during sharpening should be more clear.
