2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Required: Aqara Hub M2 requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and does not support Wi-Fi 6.

Device Capacity: One Aqara Hub M2 can connect up to 128 Aqara Zigbee devices (Aqara Zigbee repeaters such as LED Strip T1, Smart Plug, Wall Switch (with neutral) are required).

Supported Devices: Supports Aqara Zigbee child devices only.

Not Supported: Does not support Aqara Thread devices or Zigbee devices from other brands.

Proximity for Stability: For a stable connection, keep the hub within 400 inches of the Wi-Fi router, and keep child devices within the same range from the hub, with minimal obstacles.

LAN Requirement: Ensure the hub and router are on the same local area network (LAN).

360° Infrared Control: Control compatible IR devices such as fans and TVs by voice and via home automations (indoor use only).

Ethernet RJ45 Port: Wired Ethernet connection provides extra stability and faster response.

USB Power: Flexible installation with USB power (a power bank with pass-through charging is recommended).

Factory Mode Tip: If the indicator light is solid red, press the reset button 30 times to exit factory mode.

Home Automation and Alarm System: Works with Aqara devices to build a complete smart home automation system.

Built-In Speaker: Use for security alerts, doorbell chimes, alarm clock, and configurable ringtones (Aqara child devices required).

Speaker Volume: Up to 80 dB at 39.37 inches; volume decreases as distance increases.

All-Round Compatibility: Supports Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant (M2 as a hub and IR function via Google Home), Alexa, IFTTT, Home Assistant, and more.

Home Assistant Note: To expose the M2 to Home Assistant as a bridge, use HomeKit Device or Matter integrations.
