Just received my Tablet S and just want to post my initial review prior to really getting into using it. Was kind of surprised at the packaging of the Tablet S. came in a thin guess you can call it pop corn envelope. Second the box which contained the Tablet S was made out of thin paper with no hard cover for the top to protect the screen in case the driver stepped on it or placed it under heavier packages. Very surprised at this type of shipping. My S5 Samsung cell phone came in a better box. I've set up my WiFi and downloaded FB and updated some apps. So next couple days hope to really get into the use of this hope to be great product be back for a further update

This is the next big thing in my life. I got this as a gift from my dad when we were at USA. And from the first day on I'm in love with this device. It looks so amazing in my hand. A bit slippery but using the official book cover made the solution for that. Love taking photos from this device. It looks crispy....as youtubers say #TeamCrispy. Previously I used an iPad and as from my user experience battery life is better in this device. Now this device will be always be with me wherever I go. As always my life partner is Samsung. Thanks samsung.

Hi everybody, I recommend it to people all ages. It is smart, easy in use. The size of this tablet good for children's (not big and not small) , comfortable size for children hands / fingers. may be the cam of this tablet can not be as by phone cam, but generally for tablets it has good high quality when you take picture. I use this tablet anytime during my trip, I can take picture of nature, and generally I satisfied. Also I want to say, that I use this tablet about 9 month, and I never had problems with my android or freezes. So, finally I am happy work and enjoying with my tablet! :)

Its really easy to use and light and u can have it with u anywhere and u dont have to refresh every second i rlly love this tab and recommend for any one it has a lot of amazing features

This is my first Samsung product. I'm not especially computer savvy so while my son was home from college I had him go with me to find a replacement for my old android tablet. He suggested the Samsung immediately. I purchased it, added an 8 gig SD card (because he told me to) and have been nothing but satisfied ever since. I use the Tab S for everything digital now. I do regular public speaking and use it to store all research notes and manuscripts. Easy access to hours of work! I checked excellent in all blocks above simply because I find nothing about the Tab S that doesn't work for me or that is a problem. Simply put... It's excellent!

The best samsung tablet out there so I recommend this amazing tablet to anyone who enjoys a small 8 inch tablet..

I shopped around for awhile, then I came across this model and it's bigger sibling. Both are wonderful with beautiful screens. I tried out both models in a store hands on. After a couple hours "playing " with both I went with the 8.4 model. It's was a hard choice, but for me to grip tablet one handed for extended periods, this was more comfortable and secure to hold, I can just grip thumb and fingers across in portrait position, which for me I use more for what I'm doing. One other thing, came with kitkat installed and worked great to me. But within about 2 hours I got the download notice and installed lollipop. Wow! Works even better.

I received this tablet as an early Christmas present. I am AMAZED at the capabilities of this tablet. I'm learning new things everyday, The colors are crisp, sharp and brilliant. I take it to work every day and at lunch i watch TV shows and movies. Everyone is in awe when they see all the things it can do, especially since most of them own an IPAD or IPAD mini. Hands down, the Tab S beats out the IPAD. I took pictures at our company party recently and they came out amazing. Video is also excellent on this tablet. I LOVE Samsung products. This tablet is the best for the money. "Don't believe me. Go to a store and see it for yourself" Thanks Samsung.

I'm in love with the nice vivid screen it's like looking at a masterpiece the colors make you just want to sit and play with it. And don't get me started on the fingerprint lock I sometimes wish that it stays with the series. The camera is also great to snap great photos and for use with Skype. Apple looks like a kids tablet compared to the superior screen resolution, and the speed of something so beautiful. And the light weight of the tab makes it seem like holding a piece of paper. And the price also will make you fall in love. Just another masterpiece from the masters themselves. And also finally the games play so smooth like playing on a game console.

I have purchased several Samsung products over the years (both phones and tablet) and by far this tablet is most definitely Top of the Line when it comes to versatility, applications, and screen quality. Reading my publications with the quality screen resolution is even enjoyable. The Adaptive Display makes reading magazines and books a breeze; then turning around to watch your favorite TV shows or movies with the Super AMOLED display brings everything to life. The Con: I love the tablet itself, however the book cases are not my cup of tea. Other than that, I love my tablet and I'm sure others who purchase this one will too.
