    dont waste your money!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a 15 year cable tv tech im pleading to you, do not buy this product or any splitter period!!!!! These splitters are garbage they dont allow all the frequencies for your tv service through, they also create interference feeding back into the cable system affecting yours and your neighbors quality of service. If you have strictly over the air antenna service then this will work but if you have cable or satellite it will cause more problem than anything else. Mark my words if you buy this then when you have the svc tech out to fix your pixelation or slow speeds hes going to throw it away and replace it. So dont waste your money just call your cable or satellite provider

The way to go when replacing CATV splitters

    Reviewed by - March 23, 2014

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was having trouble with the signal into my cable internet/phone modem. Sporadic lost connectivity, etc After talking to Comcast, they mentioned the possibility of a bad splitter. Instead of paying them $50 to come out and troubleshoot, I decided to try replacing the splitters their tech had installed over a year ago when setting up service. Oh boy what a difference it made!!! Before installing this splitter I was barely getting 20 Mbps, after installation I consistently get 50+Mbps! I wholeheartedly recommend this brand as first step if you are having CATV/internet/phone reliability issues.

Works as intended but be warned

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - January 1, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When buying splitters over the counter must be careful to get one that is a bare minimum of 1 GHz to at least 5 GHz. Most ISPs use those frequencies if you purchase one of these that has less than those numbers you run the risk of having a poor signal because they will drop the frequencies that your ISP provide you I learned this the hard way however I set this up in my brothers home and their ISP seems to be compatible with this particular version I purchased one in Home Depot but did not work out so well

    Does the job

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - August 18, 2017

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a standard cable splitter with low signal loss. It does the job. There's not much more to say about it. It's small, so it doesn't stand out and you can probably hide it behind a couch or something. The label says low signal loss and that's true. I had a huge bulky splitter that had a high signal loss and my Internet speed dropped to less than half. However, when I hooked this up, my Internet is now what I pay for, so it's true about the signal loss being low. I recommend this.

    Improved up time

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - January 4, 2014

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed to improve uptime on my cable modem. I had to upgrade to a DOCS 3.0 cable modem and when I did the wifi kept dropping off in my house. I read some online reviews and the suggestion made if you use a cable splitter you may see improvement with a better piece of harware. My current splitter was an old radio shack circa 1990's. For a relatively inexpensive part our home wifi is now consistent with no drop offs. Must have been the slight change in resistance through the splitter.

Relatively cheap for peace of mind

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - September 16, 2016

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this splitter to ensure my cable modem and tv box was getting the best signal to boost my internet speed. I read online theres no difference in splitters and that the comcast ones are fine. I beg to differ. Since i used this i have noticed my x1 responds slightly faster to my remote control commands however, my internet connection is probably about the same, hard to say if i got an improvement, but i did notice my 5ghz network get a boost on speeds. Good product overall.

    Couldn't Have Been Easier!

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - July 14, 2017

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's not always possible to really voice an opinion about something as basic as this surge protecting device. Well in Central NY the weather has been downright nasty of late (July '17). My apartment's taken on water, and it's not a boat! Two trees blew down next door. AND we took a significant lightening strike not too far away -- the soil here is moderately electro conductive and I returned home expecting problems. My neighbors CERTAINLY had their troubles! I'm very thankful to say that I experienced NO PROBLEMS! Presumably, since other neighbors had blown electronic equipment, insufficiently or not protected at all -- I consider myself fortunate in that so far anyhow, NOTHING has gone wrong! Other smaller lighter duty surge protectors "blew". THIS one and my new CyberPower UPS had no problems whatsoever!

    It worked

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - January 16, 2016

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know these used to display the ohms and some didn't work with different systems. This did not contain any of that information and it worked with our Verizon FIOS, so it makes me believe the different ohm listing may have been when there were both analog and digital, before going strictly digital. I setup an office for my wife, she has a Television and I installed a TV card in the computer I built her. Everything worked perfectly with no degradation of picture quality.
