Samsung Galaxy SmartTag Bluetooth Item Tracker - Black

I got this as a free add on with my phone. Didn't think much of it but since my dog tends to run off soon as she sees a squirrel thought I'd give it a try. We go on lots of hikes and some also have rivers or lakes. She loves the water so when I saw her going in for a swim I just thought it was done for. Later found out it is extremely waterproof. She has worn it in the water multiple times this summer. Really the only complaint I have is that even tho it's a great tracker if the tile is less than 20ft from you it says it's right next to you. This didn't help when my dog went wandering in the night at Scarborough bluffs. I had to use the ringer and found her by following the sound.

I know cats are supposed to stay in the house, but my cat loves to hang out in the bushes in our yard when we are outside Sometimes he hides . Now with one-click, I can ring the device and know he's nearby. The odd time he's ventured out of the yard, I've found him in minutes. Great value compared to other pet trackers , works every time, set up.was easy and the tracker will also find my phone and tablet . Best gadget I've ever purchased!

Bought this last week for my cat and overall it's amazing. Our cat doesn't mind it at all even though it looks quite funny. It was very simple to set up and the features on it are amazing!

It worked great for about a month, then died completely. I assumed maybe it needed new batteries, which took a while to find locally. The new battery didn't help, it was still dead. There was a touch of corrosion on the old battery, it must have gotten wet at some point, perhaps from the pet's water dish. If it is that sensitive to water damage it simply isn't suitable for use with pets, despite the app having an option to label it with a dog or cat. Probably okay on a keychain or something, as long as you never drop your keys in a puddle.

I don't understand why people are having issues with it, it's been working flawlessly for me. I have set up a couple smart devices to control with the button which is incredibly convenient. It's never failed to ring when activated or to ring my phone. It attached easily to a smaller keyring and has save so much time looking for the key I always lose. Hopefully the next version will be smaller and thinner to fit in my wallet
