[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far as spinning platter HDDs go, this BarracudaPro is a very decent unit to inexpensively increase internal laptop/notebook storage. Remarkably thermally stable & mechanically/data reliable, just on it's own. Real world performace can be further leveraged via pairing with NVMe2 Intel Optane memory. Set aside all of the theoretical Optane+HDD naysers. Intel is not subbing out Optane innards with low performance/reliability silicon, whereas the list of SSD vendors baiting product reviews and then re-fabbing/switching sold-to-consumer units (under the same identifiers) with lower performance components is endless. This SeagateHDD, paired with Optane price/performance competes with SSD in the real world, leaving $$$ in my wallet for other things.

Was a very easy install, and within an hour I had ALL of my many PS4 games loaded on the console with still over 1+TB left for more games!!!

Arrived really quickly. Works well, I hope it will continue to work well! I didn't like that I had to pay for shipping :(
