What customers are saying

The product has an attractive, premium design with metal accents that many customers appreciate, particularly the stainless steel bottles. The bottles are easy to use and help keep the carbonated water fresh for longer. Some customers found the bottles slightly larger than previous models, requiring removal of the drip tray. A few reported issues with the bottom feeling flimsy or coming undone easily, and noted they are not dishwasher safe. Overall, most customers are very satisfied with the product and find it to be a great upgrade.

    buying new bottles on line

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - February 3, 2017

I bought two new bottles online and neither one of them fit my soda stream one was too tall and the other one the rim was too small I was really bummed one of them came completely scratched around the middle "the plastic one" the glass one was nice but did not fit my soda stream why are there so many different sizes now I either have to get rid of them give them away or just put them on the shelf! there is no model number on my soda stream and ordering online does not specify what type you are ordering for

    Good bottles

    Reviewed by - December 24, 2018

My old black bottles were only two years old, but they weren't holding fizz that well. I decided to upgrade to the stainless bottles for aesthetic reasons. The new bottles definitely hold fizz better (for now), and I like how they look. Like all of the SodaStream slim bottles, they tip over easily from their spot in the refrigerator door, which is annoying. The benefit of the metal bottoms, besides looking nice, is that they are less prone to crack, which the black plastic on a few of my older bottles had done. The stainless bottles are not always available, unfortunately, but if they are, I'd get them again.

    Great bottkle, BUT..

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - June 18, 2015

I bought this bottle for personal use. I have some observations that I'd like to pass along. The material used is very good, with a good finish & easy to keep clean. The only problem I have is when the bottle is full. It is top heavy & combined with a smaller base than the older bottles have makes it prone to tip easily. If they would on the metal bottom plate flare it out some it would help tremendously with tipping. It would also look cool and be an inexpensive improvement to the bottle. I would recommend this bottle only if you are not worried about tipping.

    Great Look, Ok Build

    Reviewed by - January 10, 2019

I love the look of the stainless steel bottles, however, the build on them is not as good as the black and white plastic base bottles. The metal bottom has a habit of becoming dislodged quite easily. It seems that instead of gluing the bottom on like on the plastic based bottles, Sodastream chose to implement a twist and lock into place bottom which comes undone easily.

    Love the design!

    Reviewed by - July 18, 2020

Not much to review...it’s a sodastream bottle that is used to carbonate water. But I do love the design. It’s bold and artsy, and I really enjoy using it for that aesthetic alone. I’ve brought it out with me and received compliments on it, with people asking me where I got it. If you’re looking for something to upgrade to from the plain bottles, I’d recommend this one!

    Squeaky Clean

    Reviewed by - June 7, 2016

I've been buying Sodastream products for some time now, and have discovered that it is cheaper to buy the syrup directly from the manufacturer, especially so as you get the tenth bottle free! I will confess it was a bit of a surprise to see they had redesigned the bottle, making it slimmer, and changing the name slightly, but it still works, and I'm a happy camper!

    It's not glass

    Reviewed by - February 16, 2019

For some reason I thought this was glass (stainless steel and plastic isn't a combination I'm familiar with) so the bottle did not meet my expectation, but that's my fault. For what it's supposed to be, it's good. Just keep in mind it's not glass. 4 starts because I wish it would seal better. As the fizz goes after about 24 hours.

Bottle slightly big for soda stream machine

    Reviewed by - March 10, 2019

When I bought these bottles I thought I just had to make sure they weren’t glass and they would fit in the model soda stream I have. But I must have an older model because the bottle is too tall. I now have to take out the spill tray to fit the bottle when I screw it into the soda stream. Perfect apart from that though.

    Reliable product

    Reviewed by - January 22, 2020

I would really like to see these available in glass, otherwise I would have given this a 5 star rating. The plastic is durable (survives rolling around in my car), easy to use (insert into the C02 dispenser). It does need to be thoroughly washed frequently but otherwise priced appropriately.

I thought... they were dishwasher safe.

    Reviewed by - January 29, 2020

Since you brought out dishwasher safe bottles, I thought these would be... Why wouldn’t they all be from now on? My kids won’t use them because they get moldy. The caps get moldy. So... a little disappointed. Also, why not sell them in the stores, where I can see them? Thanks.
