Good earphones for the price
- July 25, 2016I'm just about to buy my 3rd pair, I've found that each pair lasts roughly a year before one side loses sound and then the other loses it a week later. Keep in mind I usually store them with me everywhere I go, so that includes in my coat pockets in the wintertime and I even wear them when it's snowing/raining lightly outside. So even with being exposed to the outside weather, it still has a good life of around a year. As with any earphones, just try not to pull on them too hard. I cringe everytime something accidentally caught my earphones and pulled it out of my ears. Good sound and good durability considering how cheap these earphones were.

Good enough for a $10 Pair
- July 7, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't buy these expecting to be blown out of the water by fit and sound quality, so if you are going in just looking for something to put the noise from your music source directly to your ears, these do the job. There are 3 separate earbud sizes so you can switch them up to fit your ear better. There's no microphone feature, but they are noise cancelling for the most part. I bought these to replace some SkullCandy headphones that crapped out on me and I wouldn't say I notice any difference in sound quality, but there was at least a $10 price difference with these being the better value. I'll probably buy them again if my current pair dies.

Good for a Short Period
- April 9, 2018I purchased these headphone in October of 2017 and by April of 2018 the left earbud had stopped working. I am not the type to write negative reviews so I would like to mention that they worked well and were quite comfortable for the short time that they did fully work. I have talked to friends about these headphones as well as other Sony products and found that they were experiencing similar issues. Luckily (at least I thought) I had purchased a warranty but the process for replacement is extremely tedious and frustrating. For the price I am disappointed and would rather splurge for better quality and a more manageable warranty procedure.

Decent sound, wont break the bank
- February 13, 2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing overly spectacular to say about these headphones. The drivers are a little on the weak side and sound like the EQ favors the mid range to much causing distortion of the lower range. Higher range is OK and they tend to perform best for pop/rock or anything that isn't heavy on the lower registry. Decent sound 'canceling' from the 'in-ear' muffling effect. Cable tangles rather easily and comfort is slightly above average. On the other hand the ear buds are rather durable and have survived several wash/dry cycles and the cord appears VERY strong. All in all, decent price for the sound and strong enough to withstand moderate abuse.

Great sound but not durable
- October 31, 2017I got these a while back and the sound quality has been great but the thing is falling apart. The wire from the L shape piece is starting to come out and I'm having to keep it taped. It left the wires exposed through the anti-split thing. The part covering the connector fits pretty much any phone even with a case that limits headphone jack size, which is a huge plus because I've had trouble with other brands. Tangling isn't the biggest issue but it can still occurre. Overall these are as good as in-ear headphones will probably get for a while.

These went downhill fast.
- November 6, 2018I bought a pair at the airport. At first the left side went very quiet, I had to adjust sound levels on the computer to 75/25 left/right for it to sound right. Then the right side went lower then the left, and the only way to hear anything was to crank the volume up on every device to the max level. I've stopped using these, 1 month after the purchase, because all the treble is gone and the bass is so overpowering it gives me a headache. The left side is now completely silent. Please give me a refund or replacement Sony. Thanks. Jason

Sony Earbuds
- January 9, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second set of Sony earbuds I have purchased. I went through three pairs of other competitors earbuds before finally coming back to Sony. Full disclosure, I am very hard on my earbuds as I use them whenever I am working around the house, yard or exercising. I also prefer the in ear style for better stability through my various activities while wearing. I have a set of Bose earbuds that sound great but are not secure enough in my ears when I am biking, and working around the yard. Other brands have sounded poor, been cheaply made and failed rather quickly. Sony offers excellent value to price and good sound quality.

Why change the microphone button?
- August 31, 2017I bought these because I have an older version and I love that (a) the earbuds fit my small ears and (b) it functions like light noise-cancelling headphones. However in the new version, the microphone button does not allow me to change the volume, given that I have an iphone. I do see that if I had an Android I could install an app to get that functionality. But... why would you make a customer install an app to get extremely basic functionality????? I would expect all headphones by now to have a microphone and a volume button! I am very very very very disappointed in this design decision and now I have to go find new headphones, probably from a different brand.

Great for what they are
- June 27, 2020I’ve had them for about 2 years now and I’ve used them with my laptop and phone, but about a month after I got them, I got a pair of wh1000xm3s, so they don’t see too much usage, I usually wear them when the headphones take up too much space and compared to the headphones, the sound is a little airy if that makes any sense and the bass isn’t as heavy but otherwise they make a good alternative and replacement if the headphones die.

Great sound, comfortable and affordable
- March 2, 2018Pros: light weight, nice bass, noise isolating buds, clear sounding, super easy to untangle cons: none You guys have no idea how much I love these headphones. Ive tried other brands but they can never match the sound quality and comfort of the 15ap. They're so comfortable I can wear them all day and not even notice them. Other brands would leave my ears sore. They don't hurt your ears when you accidently yank them out. Im not going to lie I tend to be aggressive with my earphones when pulling them out of my pocket so I always end up losing the silicone tips. So if you could please start selling replacement tips and or send me a couple hundred size small my way that be great lol
