[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, let me start by saying that this is my second or third pair of Sony headphones. The first set worked great and lasted a couple years, so when they broke I purchased another set of Sony headphones. I also like them because they're one of the few types of headphones that actually fit in my ears without hurting them. That being said, this set hasn't even lasted a year and they're already broke. I just noticed today that the left side has completely stopped working, when I only purchased them in April. I don't even use them that much! Call me old-fashioned, but when I spend money on something, I expect it to at least last a freakin' year.

I bought it for about 5 months now and it's works. Accidentally put it in a washing machine but came out active .....I also love the base punch and optimization. Big ups Sony.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would be satisfied with the audio these earbuds deliver, but the stiff cord that was used in this model greatly detracts from the sound. Move your head while listening to music, and what you here is a distracting rustling sound that is physically transmitted up the cord to the earbud. It is not a loose connection, or anything electrical, it is simply the stiff cord dragging across your clothes as you move. The cord is NOT soft and supple like the Apple earbuds, and is much stiffer. Even though I generally find Sony products reasonably well built, they clearly missed an important consideration in selecting the cord for these earbuds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones have worked really well for me. I tend to be hard on headphones, and these have stood up to heavy use and transportation without fail. I have small ears, and the smallest earbuds actually fit me comfortably (many earbuds are too large) and stay in place. As an extra bonus, I can wear these while laying on my side comfortably. The microphone transmits clearly, and the sound quality of the headphones is good. These don't have the absolute best audio quality I've ever heard, but they are still very good for a moderate price, and the fit, sturdiness, comfort, and convenience of these put them over the top of the many other option I've tried.

Have had these for almost 2 months. Although the sound quality is good people on the other end of the line say my voice muffled and they have a hard time understanding me. Often they say they are getting an echo and sometimes when I use it I can hear my voice echoing. If you have a bigger neck the rigid plastic does not rest properly on your neck. You can always feel it. It is boxed and you cannot see the device before purchase. Also, there is no carrying case. I had to find my own bag. My friends who have traditional headphones seem to have cases from the manufacturer. Not getting one from Sony adds cost.

I bought a pair of these about 8 months ago. Within 6 months (but over 90 days) the left earbud stopped working. I checked the warranty which was for only 90 days. I actually bought another pair with the expectation that I could return the original broken pair to Sony with the new packaging/receipt for repair/replacement under warranty. Then today the left earbud on the new pair stopped working, 2 months after I bought them... While they were working, these offered very good sound quality for earbuds and the Smart Key worked well with my Galaxy 6. I used them daily walking to/from work and through most of my workday in an office environment. Good earbuds, poor manufacturing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these when I am off duty and working my second job as a contractor, which is an active job, as well as when I work out. I like these earbuds because they cancel out most of the loud noises from the equipment I operate while providing good sound, including good lows (which seems to be hard to find in earbuds). They are extremely durable. I've even ran these through the washing machine and they still worked! I had another pair of Sony earbuds years ago and they were stolen. After going through several pairs of other cheaper ($15 range) earbuds and being disappointed in more ways than one, including sound, I've come back to these and will likely stick with them for a long time.d

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These earbuds produce high quality sound including deep bass and nice treble. Also, the price is not overly expensive. I usually use a pair of sony sound canceling headphones that cost around $50. These earbuds produce almost as good of sound quality and are more comfortable for working out, which is why I bought these. If you are looking for quality earbuds these are a great set. They have better quality sound than those beats headphones and are 1/4 the price. If you just simply want great quality and are willing to spend some money try Bose and skip the Beats by Dre as those are not better than these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a pair of these and loved them, not the best sound in the world, but for the price, pretty decent. I also loved being able to use them to talk on the phone and/or control my music. However, after about 1-2 months of extremely careful use (I HATE having to shop for new headphones), one of the ears just stopped working. I could not find any way on the manufacturer website to have them replaced, so eventually I bought another pair of the same headphones. After about one month of being even more careful, the exact same thing happened. Extremely disappointed, as otherwise I love these headphones.

What is headphones three years ago and he was just looking at the Sonny website thinking about updating to a newer pair when I saw some of the reviews about this product and was stunned. Not only did I find these headphones work extremely well there extremely well constructed they’ve lasted for three years now without really any issue the sound quality is much better than I expected. I have a degree in audio engineering and have used tons of headphones Sony is the staple in every studio across the country maybe the world. I feel that the build quality of these lives up to that standard. Also, I found it’s really cool that they vibrate when your phone rings so that you don’t have a ringer in your ear. The battery lasts about 20 hours when you first get them but after a year or so maybe about 14 which is more than enough. I plan on buying the next pair up after having such good luck with these
