My android tablet and a free app did a better job than this sleep machine. Rain sounded like water filling a bathtub, not realistic at all. The audio qualify of the speaker was also poor for the price of this machine.

I love it when it works but this is the second one to die on me. An electrical problem each time. I will send it back and ask for another one because I do appreciate it when it works. It helps me cope with tinnitus.

Unit worked fine for first few months. Now at random I get a sound similar to a blown speaker. And that is enough to wake me up. The different sounds are nice. The city sound cracks me up on high ambiance where you can listen to honking horns. I had the cheaper white noise version that worked fine but gave that one away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is amazing! I swear it hypnotizes me to sleep every night I’m not even joking. Maybe that’s why it was $10?!? I sit it up on my chest of drawers and leave it turned on all night long. It does have a few timer options but I don’t use those. The speaker is on top of the machine so it plays all throughout the room, really canceling out any background sounds. I leave mine on the waterfall sound but also turn on 2 of the features it has to add to the sound. Do yourself a favor and get this!

I love it. I don't think I'll ever go to sleep without a sleep and sound machine again. This machine has realistic sounds. Ever imagined sleeping to the sounds of a brook or an ocean? Now you can! These two sounds especially, lull me to sleep. I also like the rhythm or beat of the train sound. You can us use the timer or if you want it to stay on all night, you can just press the power button and it will stay on all night. I like to do this, so that when I awake during the night, it is still on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a sound sleep devise to help quiet my mind when falling asleep and this offered plenty of options for sounds--from natural to "pink" and "white" noise. There is a timer with 2 pre-set increments, or leave it on all night. The sounds are very natural and realistic and the volume varies with the ambient sounds in the room if you choose that setting. Or it can be left at a constant level.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The system does exactly what it claims to do and it's a nice, high quality device. Everything works just as described and I had no issues with it. In my case it just didn't help me sleep better. This isn't due to any defect in the system and many others have indicated it did help. It will be dependent on each person's sleep habits and issues. Give it a try as it did help many, just not me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Enjoy the Sound+Sleep Therapy System because of it's many sounds for sleep. Love the rain, ocean, and meadow to sleep too. Fireplace sound is relaxing for reading too. The speaker system gets nice and loud plus sounds good. The adaptive technology is a cool feature. Like how it automatically gets loud when it hears outside noises. Also, sleep timer helps. Recommend

Excellent sound & sleep machine as it increases sounds to mask increases in sounds outside. Liked the large variety of sounds available. Also you have a choice of how long it can play before shutting off. Only problem is that you can not use batteries and the cord is not very long so it limits where you can place the machine.

Purchased for daughter to help relax and compensate for noise transfer from neighbors child and TV below her room. She is a light sleeper and continued wake break's sleep cycle to function at school. Don't regret and with the sound increasing to compensate for noise it may actually be helping the neighbors child lol.
