Don't let anyone fool ya these are the best period

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The absolute best media out there. Hand picked off a line to ensure no defects. If you get a fail half way through its because your drive either is bogus, your drivers are not working properly (try reinstalling or using an older whql), or your i/o on the motherboard is not working properly. I am a professional IT guy and trust me when I say there are a ton of things that could effect your drive and communication with the os, that's why people get failed burns. In short VERBATIM media is the best. if it fails its because you've failed somewhere making sure your PC is running its best.

I like DVD DL because it's got double capacity

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - July 8, 2017

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a whole lot better storage disc, double the size, 8.5 GB of regular DVD, 4.3 GB only. It's good if you are into creating a big data file storage.

    Nothing better than Verbatim.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used other dvd discs, but none could beat Verbatim.

    Optical media are nice

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - June 14, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No “coasters” yet, and compatible with each drive in which I have attempted to write to them — one Apple, one Asus, and one hp. They are a little bit more money than no-name discs, but my experience with Verbatim media overall has been positive. And according to scans of 10+ year old Verbatim DVDs using Nero DiscSpeed, the Verbatim media hold up better than other brands that I have tried over time. Just look for the ones that say “AZO” on the package; they are purportedly higher-quality blanks than even the Verbatim ones that do not have that marking.

An excellent choice to store your DVD home movies

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - July 9, 2016

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WARNING: These discs may not work with DVD-R DL single format burners (DVD+R DL or multi-format is guaranteed to work). Let me start by saying I've used many Verbatim products in the past 22 years and they’ve never failed me. As a mentioned in the summary this product is a great choice for DVD format, however if you've already upgraded to Blu-Ray format I highly recommend purchasing this BB product instead: https://tinyurl.com/jayp8kw . Both products I stated above are excellent choices for either format, especially when on sale.

    Awesome product

    Reviewed by - August 15, 2008

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While these discs are MII, they are lower quality than those MIS. It is still possible to backup all data without any problems. Not even one problem burning data. Recommend using ImgBurn(free app) to burn all data. Highly configurable, and it's 100% free. The program seems to like these discs over others I have tried. Tip: burn at slower speeds (2x, 2.4x). It may take a little longer, but there is a 99% chance of no errors and the disc will be read much easier when using across different platforms and disc drives.

    Better results than expected

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - December 8, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Based on the price, I expected to generate at least one coaster with these but to my surprise I have yet to have a failed burn. I needed them to overcome an HP design flaw on their laptops. They simply are unable to boot from USB devices in UEFI mode thus I was unable to use my normal flash drive to repair the device. Since the latest iteration of Windows 10 x64 no longer fits on a SL disc (which I already had dozens of blanks) I needed to find a relatively inexpensive DL solution. This turned out to be it.

    Double Memory

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - December 31, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I prefer Dual Layer DVD for saved copies of my photo and video files because of twice the memory. I use less disc to store large files and save space in DVD albums. I prefer to wait until these discs go on sale because of the higher cost of purchasing. I quickly purchased these at the sale price of $23.99. They are durable and I have never had a corrupt disc after a successful burn. The are also great for large slide and video shows as they can hold several shows per disc.

Works great, no defects out of 18 burned

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - January 6, 2018

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We didn't have many options when we picked these up. They all work so far and the read and write were quick on all of our burners. Also, no compatibility issues whatsoever with our client's laptops where the finished (copied) DVDs end up being used. We also write DVDs with an external USB 3.0 DVD writer and that one could read and write these all day long too. Overall, we are very happy with these double layer DVDs and will continue to buy more when we run out of them.

    Expensive but worth it.

    Reviewed by - September 13, 2007

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these discs to backup a certain kind of DL-DVD discs and they work the best out of all the discs I have used. I haven't used very many different brands but the one I had tried before didn't work. I did some research on forums and everyone said that these are the best for my BackUp needs. If you just want to back up some data from your pc I would think that the cheaper discs would work. I only use these discs because I have to for what I am doing.
