Enjoy the delectable tone of the highly sought-after Klon Centaur in a compact and pedalboard-friendly form factor with the Warm Audio Centavo Mod, an overdrive pedal featuring authentic tone and all-analog circuitry. Along with typical Gain, Treble, and Output controls, the Centavo Mod kicks it up a notch with a MOD switch for an extended low-frequency response.

The pedal features a distinctive and head-turning design, with a custom-cast gold enclosure and accurately tapered oxblood knobs inspired by the Centaur. The true-to-vintage analog circuitry includes TL072 op-amps, vintage-style diodes, carbon/metal film resistors, and a charge-pump voltage regulator, all of which work together to deliver an accurate Centaur-style drive tone. The Centavo Mod can be powered by either a 9V battery or a 9V power adapter (sold separately).

Pedalboard Ready, Internally Identical

While the Centavo Mod has a pedalboard-friendly enclosure and top-mounted jacks, the internal circuit is true to the vintage pedal design and uses the same exact components as the full-sized Centavo with the true-to-original enclosure.

Two Modes with Authentic Controls

The Centavo Mod has three simple controls on the front panel—gain, treble, and output, just like the original. This pedalboard-friendly version of the Centavo also has a MOD switch on the back panel, extending low-end response to get that desirable throaty sound on the lower strings.

To achieve the true-to-original overdrive tone, Centavo Mod uses carefully selected components including TL072 op amps and premium diodes that deliver those signature clean boost, edge-of breakup, and hard-clipping sounds.
