Not so great..should have a light inside the dryer
- July 28, 2023(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The performance of the dryer seems ok.but I would have wanted a light inside the dryer..I never had a dryer with out a light. There is a button for the light and a cut out, but no light. I guess whirlpool is just cheapping out on there products these days. I checked customers review after I discovered no light and many other customers would thought there would be a light as well and they were not impressed either.

Nice, but no interior light
- December 25, 2021[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer to replace my 2008 Whirlpool stackable. It was the only model available for replacement. The controls are nice. Many options, NO INTERIOR LIGHT. Also, the door does not switch from left opening to right opening like the previous model. Why would a NEWER model have FEWER features? I am dealing, but not really happy.

Durable and Quiet
- February 8, 2023[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using my new pair of Wirpool washer and dryer for about a month now. In comparison to my previous Samsung washer and dryer, this Wirpool pair is less flashy, but more durable and quieter. The drier has plenty of features and temperature controls- like the “EcoBoost” :) feature, that uses less gas and dry with cold air - delicate on clothes, but takes much more time. The only Cons I see after a month are related to the Start/Finish process. Start requires to hold the button for 3 seconds which can be annoying. Finish signal is too quiet. Overall I am happy my purchase.

It drys your clothes!
- June 8, 2021[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer itself is excellent therefore I am rating it five stars. The “delivery” however was a nightmare (ZERO STARS) the first two they tried to deliver were both damaged, third time was a charm. I don’t know if the warehouse is damaging them or the contracted drivers. Best Buy made it right by compensating me with a gift card. I got a little something for my time and troubles could’ve been more but I’ll take it. I had to take time off work three separate times. As for the dryer I just put it on high and the clothes come out to dry. Have not had a need to use any of the special functions because I just have regular clothes no special garments to use any of the other settings, so I cannot rate of those features. So take my review for what it’s worth if you just need a dryer to dry your clothes this one works just fine. When you dry bedsheets they come out wrinkled but I think that goes for most home dryers especially king size bed sheets. So I’m not going to subtracting stars for that because I’m a reasonable person.

whirlpool Service tech arrangement is a joke
- May 26, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased in november 2019. Worked for 5 months. Now leaks and doesnt work. Only one tech available in my area. They came out. Had to order 3 new parts. Waited weeks for repair. Worked a week then leaked again. Called tech. They told me to only do wash when we were home and to let them know where it is leaking from. Called whirlpool. They called tech company owner. He hung up on them. Whirlpool needed 3 days to find new tech. New tech came out 2 weeks later and said he had to order another part. Still waiting. Glad I bought a refurbished machine and paid brand new full price! What a joke. Will never purchase maytag, whirlpool, or amana ever again

Happily Surprised
- November 6, 2020[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was not my first choice - it’s the only model in stock. I wanted the 6620 but it wasn’t in stock. I am happily surprised at this one. Easy to use, I love the load and go function. Cons- clothes doesn’t dry evenly there’s always a few damp items when the rest of the load is dry. My older dryer was evenly dried. The lint filter seems flimsy and the opening for lint filter is too small to put a vacuum hose in. The buttons are too sensitive to touch- leaning over the machine to grab something from the shelf above almost always causes the buttons to be reset. Damp dry signal could be louder. Optional pedestals are expensive.

There's a bad one in every batch
- April 27, 2024[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's always a bad one in every batch and it's likely that I got it. I've owned the unit for two weeks. I've already had a repair technician look at it twice so far and it still isn't working correctly. The first tech visit was because it wasn't heating up. Later that day it stopped working again. The tech came out again and completely disassembled the unit trying to fix it and found nothing wrong. After reassembly, it started heating up again, but now, only days later, it seems to only heat up when it wants to. I've had nothing but trouble with this dryer and would not recommend it based on my experience thus far.

Junk.
- August 9, 2022[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well if it isn’t trying to break I like it. Getting ready to have the control motherboard panel switched for the second time. In less then 2 years. The soap dispenser leaks water all the way down into the bottom little tray. And the load and go dispenser sometimes fills with water and it gets stagnant. Pain in the you know what. Almost felt over a barrel to order another one because I had a matching dryer and I already had the pedestal and the dryer‘s on the pedestal and it didn’t die at the same time. Always buy the warranty people! And the first year the the manufacturers warranty and that’s a pain in the butt too. I’d much rather deal with geek squad honestly.

Meets My Needs and Expectations
- July 24, 2022[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a hard time finding matching washer/dryer stackable machines that had good consumer ratings as well as Consumer Report ratings without excessive cycles I didn't want. The price was right, the downside was that it does not come with the parts to stack, those were extra. It's been a month, and its quiet and it works.
