[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a front loader washer that constantly smells bad. We live in the desert with a very dry climate and I never let wet clothes sit in the washer and always leave the door of the washer open when not in use, but no matter what I do the washer always smells bad. I have tried using bleach, baking soda, and vinegar to clean it, but it always has a terrible smell coming out of the laundry room into the hallway. Using this just one time made a huge difference! My machine doesn't smell and after using this cleaner there was brown nasty stuff all on the inside of the washer that had obviously been broken up and released by the cleaner from behind the drum. I wiped everything out and got it all nice and clean. One thing that I was a little confused about was that the instructions tell you to throw the "tablet" into the drum, but I did not receive a tablet. I had a small package of powder that I dumped into the drum. But it still worked and I highly recommend this product if your washer smells bad no matter what you have tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who ever thinks to clean the washer? Seems a bit redundant, right? Well, it needs it. Even though my washer is stainless steel inside, there is soap scum build up and funky smells that linger. I ran a small empty load, tossed the tablet in and let it do its thing. Afterwards, the basket was shiny and smelled so much better. My laundry comes out cleaner and smelling better, too. There used to be a kind of "musty" smell, even though i immediately switched it to the dryer. Now, it smells fresh and clean. Definitely wont wait years to do THAT again m

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #sponsored I had never noticed or heard of this product (Affresh Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets) before receiving a kit from #Crowdtap. Basically, you place the opened tablet in your washer without clothes and run a hot water load. After this cycle, I did a couple of regular laundry loads and did not notice much if any difference in my clothing. I usually run a load of whites with bleach before washing the next load and also do not notice much if any difference in my clothing after. That being said, I would guess that like most appliances, washers need a cleansing and this may be the only product on the market as of this time that does that.

The rubber and the edge of the washer was still just as dirty once I completed the cleaning. Wasn't impressed, waste of money. Now, THIS! It ruined the following load. This is unacceptable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a joy to use these washing machine cleaner tablets. I used to use straight bleach in my washing machine and run it through a wash cycle. With the affresh washing machine cleaner tablets I just throw the tabs in let it go through and my washing machine smells clean and fresh! No more worrying of whether the bleach got totally out of my washing machine. I have proceeded to wash a load of laundry immediately following cleaning it with bleach and ruined a complete load of dark clothing. a (That really happened, believe me!) I just wash with the tab in there and I'm ready to use the washing machine no problem! So convenient and so fresh smelling!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 1.5 year old top load samsung washer, I used one tablet and hit the self wash cycle like the directions said. I feel my washer smells fresher and I feel better about a lot of the bacteria and build up coming out. I think this would work best if you started using them regularly with a new washer. Around the top of my drum it the shininess fades, it appears like a bit of soap scum or something built up. After running a cycle with the tablet I tried scrubbing at it a bit but it still wouldnt come off. I think these tablets could have prevented the build up if I started using then sooner. I will continue to use to help prevent future build up.

Bleach doesn’t really do anytging to get rid of that smell. Sure I can use vinegar but the smell comes back quickly, and also the smell of the vinegar disgusts me! I was ready to trade in my washing machine! Then i got these tablets, and they left me surprised with the result! No more hassle with vinegar, it also takes less space to store and is easier to use in general! I'm so thankful for this product! I can once again do my laundry, wear my clothes and especially wrap myself in a towel without that disgusting odor following me everywhere! Thanks Affresh!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are extremely easy to use and something I plan to keep around as my boyfriend is a mechanic and I feel his clothes really affect the washing machine with all the grease and fuel and whatever else he gets on his clothes. I can smell it while it's working and have looked inside during a cycle and saw it doing it's job. It does seem to make a difference as I have felt inside the washer before and after and noticed less residue. So if you have a partner or children that get their clothes extremely messy, I highly recommend this. I think it even helps the washer clean better by cleaning the washer itself nice and clean.
